Best clear case available for the S8+

This cover is the perfect complement to the S8+. It keeps the same look and feel as the naked phone. I tried at least 6 other slim cases and none come close to keeping the bare look, and the gorgeous lines on the S8+. This case will not provide strong drop protection, but it will provide excellent scratch protection. It wraps around the sides and up around the glass edge, and provides good overall coverage, much better than competing slim cases. It has a glossy look like the naked back plate of the phone. This offers the same grip, and maybe slightly better given that it is plastic and not glass. Overall, it is a better grip for me than the soft or smooth plastic cases I have tried (which are like silk). Some textured cases provide better grip, but I was mainly interested in scratch protection and preserving the original look and feel. When compared to other clear silicone cases, this one is so much better. Not only is it substantially thinner, but it hugs the phone better and works better in the pocket. I strongly recommend this case, if you are looking for basic scratch and minor drop protection, and are trying to keep the look the same as the original bare phone.

This case is exactly what I was looking for. It's slim, sleek and you can't even tell it's on the phone. It may not protect your phone from drops, but it's better than nothing. The case is even compatible with the tempered glass screen protector I have on the phone. I've tried other cases and they were either to bulky or lifted up the screen protector when I put it on. The screen protector I use is made by wesso, it's the curved tempered glass one and costs $28 on amazon. With the combination of the two you can still show off the sexiness of your phone while adding some protection.

It is from Samsung themselves and no one knows their phones better than themselves. Love the look and an underrated aspect is that it separates the fingerprint scanner from the camera lens to avoid accidentally covering the lens and leaving fingerprints. Realize that it is a very thin case with little protection for the screen. Lips are small and won't do much if it actually falls face down on a hard surface, my phone has a small scratch because of this.

Accidents happen to everyone, even if you're not normally a clumsy person, if Samsung only produced a slightly thicker case, with more protective. front lips, it'd be perfect. If you trust yourself and want an amazing case, go for this.

I've been using other brand's 'ultra hybrid' case.for 1 month. It gave good drop protection, but i just don't feel the phone at all (too bulky). Then i took that case off and by just holding the phone itself, it feels so good and sexy! So i decided to go with this slim case now. After putting it on and it feels like no case at all. The screen looks better with this case since the sides aren't covered. I got the black one but it looks more like a smoke tinted clear. Looks really good on my orchid gray. However, this case won't give any drop protection, and doesn't offer a good grip like the ultra hybrid. Anyway, I am willing to take the risk as long as i am 'happy' with the feel of the S8 plus + this case.

The case is thin if you prefer not to have a bulky case. It complements the phone and fits great. The buttons and bottom ports are not covered which is a plus. Don't expect any kind of real protection though. Yes it will prevent scratches to the back of the phone, however it's not going to do much for drops. If you have butter fingers and drop your phone a lot then this wouldn't be a good choice. If you are careful and don't drop your phone then it can be a good choice. You do have to keep in mind that some of the bulkier cases don't offer much protection either. If a phone lands the right way it will get damaged. There are of course cases that will offer maximum protection, but those cases are usually way to big, overpriced and just take away from the cosmetics to the phone.
The one thing I really don't like about the case is its slippery. I used to have the same type of case from Samsung on my S7 Edge and it had a little grip to it so I wasn't worried about it sliding out of my hand. This case is so slick I am always worried it's going to slip. I wish they made it have a little more grip. It is also just plastic so it will eventually scratch on the back of it.

Just put this minimalist protection cover on my new Galaxy S8+ and already love it. It provides back and corner protection and allows the screen to just barely clear whatever surface you put in on when you turn it upside down. The buttons are exposed due to the cutouts and I love the separate cutout for the fingerprint reader which allows you to instantly find the fingerprint reader with your finger.
The footprint is barely larger than the phone and allows you to experience the great tactile feel of the phone in your hand. I have always hated having to hide a great form factor in a bulky case. If you are prone to dropping phones, this cover is not for you, but if you are looking for a cover that allows you to still enjoy the phone's contours, buy this case without hesitation. The cover is flexible, but not flimsy.
The only con about the cover is that it is not clear...it is a milky grey through which you can still read the writing on the back of the phone, but that obscures the true color of the phone back.
