Exposed (Russkaya Mafiya Book 2) Kindle Edition
I was a fool to believe that my club and fighting meant everything to me. One look at London Layla Traverson and she proved me wrong. She’d changed so much with time, but that cool blue gaze gave her away. She was still mine and she always would be.
London
Seeing Cain again swept me off my feet, but my happiness didn’t matter. My best friend was in trouble and I knew what was coming for her. I had to get to Tennessee and help her, even if it meant leaving my love behind. No one had any idea that I had a secret of my own. A secret that meant Cain would be mine, forever.

The characters were mostly rough and tough bikers with a back story, including Cain, the leading man. London was a strong female, likable, and not a typical "damsel in distress" type. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. Cain was clearly good for London, and I was rooting for them to get a HEA.
This was the second book I've read by Sapphire Knight, and I am HOOKED! I have already downloaded two other books in her Russkaya Mafiya series. Sapphire Knight has a new fan. (I really hope she is busy writing more Russkaya Mafiya right now because I'm going to run out of her fabulous books at this rate!) My only complaint is that the book wasn't as well edited as it deserved, and that sometimes distracted me as I read.
I do recommend that you read book one, Secrets, before you read this book. It will give you a better understanding of the characters and events leading up to book two. Plus, it's a great read.
I reviewed this book on behalf of A Book Lover's Emporium book blog.

No shock here, I gave her 5-stars (again)! With no spoilers, here's why...
Plot: The story is solid and well-written. The plot unfolds following its twists and turns in an exciting, unpredictable but believable, way. I didn't feel as if any strings were left loose, and questions from Book 1 (Secrets) were “nicely” tied in, as well.
Characters: London, Cain, and Cameron. Not the triangle you're thinking it is. I don't want to give details away because it really is a damn good story. So instead, I'll say that all three Main Characters (plus the entire supporting cast), were well developed, and full of rich complexities. Their story was played out beautifully and satisfied more than my curiosities.
The Writing: Sapphire's writing, as always, sparkles. The story moves along effortlessly, alternating between the 1st POV of each of the three Main Characters, and it never gets confusing... S.K. has got some serious talent, distinguishing the Character's voices. And then there's the part that I simply adore-- great editing!
In Case You Wanted to Know: Language, Sex, Violence-- yup. All there, and graphic! But, this is the Ruskaya Mafia mixing with the Oath Keepers MC, so, no surprises there. Sapphire doesn't skimp on the action or the details. She tells her stories like it is. At least I think she does! I'm not exactly a part of either type of organization! This is at its heart, a love story. And like any love story, there will be heartache and tears mixed in with the passion and joy. Have tissues and towels on hand before reading this, or any of Sapphire Knight's novels.
Overall: If you've never read an S.K. Book, you need to. Exposed is a great place to start if you're into MCs, but trust me, you'll want to read them all. And since Tate and Emily from 'Secrets' are in here, you should make it a point to read that one as well. Preferably first, but not necessary.

Exposed centers around Emily from Book 1's best friend London and the two men she finds herself torn between, Cameron and Cain.
I really enjoyed this book as I knew I would, it was a combination of two genres and boy did it work! The twists and turns kept me guessing and I found myself not wanting to put the book down.
If you loved book 1 keep going through the series, they get better and better....

London is a sassy, quirky lady after my own heart.
Cain has loved her since seventh grade and is ecstatic when fate brings them back together....but not for long.
This book is full of spunky banter. There are a few surprises sprinkled on for garnish, too.
I am really hooked and have to read about the rest of the Oath Keepers MC Brothers and their ladies too.
