We were having issues with ants in our kitchen. We have a puppy and the ants would find her kibble. It was hard to leave her for even a couple hours because the ants would return to go after her food that we would leave out. I put the bait along the back of the counter and put a bit of kibble in various places. Sure enough they came for that. There was a steady stream for a while and then they all went away. My neighbors are still fighting their ant issues. These seem to have done the trick. My two neighbors are spending a lot of money on exterminators and my issue is solved.

These did not work at all, ants walked right by them and snubbed their little noses and laughed at these worthless little "traps". I put the openings right in line with a heavily traveled ant path and they just detoured right around them. What DID work was a few squirts of wasp spray that left a residual poison for days, leaving ants on their backs with feel in the air in what looked like a civil war battlefield after the fight.

Only Product Which Kills Texas Fire Ants

This was the only product which worked in killing the (imported South American) fire ants which infested my kitchen. It contains the chemical "hydramethylnon". So many expensive products claim to kill fire ants, which do not deliver. Look for hydramethylnon on the product label. It can take up to 3 weeks to kill the colony, but the ants never return. Whilst waiting, use just about any ant bait to slow them down. This is a Fabulous product which does work as advertised.

Ants disappeared in a day or so and have been gone for a few months now. I used a whole pack in my room and a whole other pack in my kid's room. We still eat junk in our rooms and I hardly vacuum, but pretty sure we've killed 3-4 or more ant colonies now. We live in a ground floor apartment and once every few weeks we see a new line of ants running for one of the baits on one of the window sills only to disappear again a day or two later. I figure I'll rotate the baits or get another pack if ants start going out into the rooms again, but these have far exceeded my expectation The Terro ones of the same design were good too and I believe I reviewed those previously. Good stuff.
