This mascara is good for making your lashes really separated and defined. It leaves no clumps whatsoever, so it makes the lashes look cleaner and separated. But, if you want a dramatic look, this will not do it for you. I reccomend making this your "first" mascara, and then layering on top of it something with more volume, to make each of those nicely defined lashes have a lot more volume. If you want a classy, understated, quality mascara, this one is great. If you want a more dramatic look with longer and fuller lashes, you're going to need to layer a fluffier mascara over the top of it. I use YSL babydoll, Benefit They're Real, or any by Dior.

I am a big fan of Laura Mercier so I gave the mascara a try. I used it one time. It does little to nothing and you end up with tranchula eyes trying to get enough on to do anything. It also irritated my eyes a significant amount. I gave it away and that friend has already passed it on.

It doesn't clump up and glue my eyelashes together, It lasts for more that a couple of weeks before it gets too thick to use. I have no reason to waste money looking for something better!
