DAVID MELTZER was at the top of his game in the business world as CEO to sports super agent Leigh Steinberg, played by Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire. He worked alongside Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon and lectured around the globe. But something was missing, and the multimillionaire went on a rapid downward spiral that ended in bankruptcy. It was only then that David realized that in order to revive and thrive, he needed to blend spirituality with business. The result of his transformation is his remarkably successful venture, Sports 1 Marketing. In Connected To Goodness, David reveals his proven principles for success that will bring you the same peace and balance he now enjoys in both business and life, which allows him to live his mantra: make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun.

There is a rareness to the raw ability to succeed, failure and return from the depth of despair to become even more successful while showing the morality in soul to bless others in the process. You would not have to look far to see Meltzer's commitment to the writings in this read are who he is at his core. The flow, diction and structure of this read are exceptional. It is a true gift to reader now as I am sure it was when it first was written. Entrepreneurship is difficult let alone to ascend back to top as he details his fascinating story in this read. Let me start by saying I am an AVID reader - primarily non-fiction and self-help. I have read hundreds of books in this genre. Connected to Goodness ranks as one of my all time favorite books. David Meltzer has done a brilliant job of taking what is seen as a complicated and elusive goal of being happy and successful and distilled it down to 7 understandable and easy to apply principles. After reading his book (twice already), I felt as if I FINALLY and FULLY understood what it takes - and the truth is, it doesn't take a lot. Whether you desire to succeed in business or in life or in both, this book is priceless. I felt like everything else I had learned just clicked. Not only is the content valuable, his delivery is clear, impactful and enjoyable. I laughed out loud a number of times. I felt as if he were speaking directly to me, in essence saying "Relax, it's OK, here's all you need to do." He is honest and authentic throughout, sharing his own personal experiences of "triumph," then nearly losing it all and discovering how to build his life back up to unprecedented levels and do so while having fun. Buy this book. You will not be disappointed. Thank you David Meltzer. You are a gift.

Too many books I've read really in hyperbole and never give any specific things I can apply in my own life. "You need to want it," is great, but what do I need to do starting today? This book lines it up for you.
If nothing else, the quotes sprinkled throughout the book, from a variety of people makes it worth the read.

As a law student I rarely have the time or energy to read any non-required reading. During my 1L year I made it a priority to read at least a chapter of Connected to Goodness before I went to bed. Reading Meltzer’s book was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. The lessons I learned from reading this book not only made me a more effective student but also allowed me to change my perspective on life. While it is easy to fall into the trap of negative thoughts I have used Meltzer’s principles on life and am now a much more positive and happy person.

I was recommended David Meltzer's book, "Connected to Goodness: Manifest Everything You Desire in Business and Life ", by a good friend as something that I needed to read. My good friend had worked for David and had always said tremendous things about him. So, naturally, I was curious.

After reading the book, I can see why. Meltzer does a tremendous job taking you along his path and providing insight along the way. Whether you're a personal development guru or you're struggling to find clarity and your purpose, this book has something to offer everyone. I have recommended it to others and will continue to do so. 5/5 stars

I purchased this book before going to a meet up with the Author in Toronto. Whether it is following David on social media, his book, or hearing him speak, he inspires and shares his mission of helping people in everything he does. I came away with many lessons and aha's from the book. But the one that hit me hardest was "ask for help", he changed my paradigm on that and I'm forever grateful. Magic has already started happening in my life with that one shift alone.
