After reading From The Ashes!! I was hoping for more and you sure did deliver more in this story Dani Rene!! It is a must to read From The Ashes to get all the answers from Covet!! Absolutely loved this dark, erotica, raw, epic, amazing story!! Loved both Karl and Paige for what these two went through!! This is a must read!!!

I have been patiently awaiting Covet, and it definitely did not disappoint. This book is not a standalone and at the least you should read From the Ashes.
Kael wanted nothing to do with the Wolfe family business, but nonetheless realized this was his 'legacy' and was going to at least attempt to give it a go. That was until he met Paige. She was a game changer in the very best way. He hasn't ever had a connection with a slave before this. He'd never felt the fire, the raw unbridled attraction until he met her.
His book is dark. It's not for the faint of heart. But I can honestly say if you like the darker side of life, you'll love this book. It's steamy, it's alpha goodness in all its glory. One click asap, you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed the first book and I read the prequel to this book. I'm glad I did because it really set up this entire book. It's a really different kind of book about human trafficking because this begins with this young women being sold to cover a debt that her father incurred. The focus is on her and her trainer Kael who's Sam's brother from the first book. It's a very dark read and if you love dark reads like I do then do not hesitate to read this. This couple, like the first, goes through so much together and separately. Dani Rene writing is always superb and this is no exception. It's really a love story and becoming more than products of a awful and brutal set of parents. The sex scenes are hot and intense which is a plus! I would love to see more books to this connected series..there's couples that I want to delve deeper into. Little Wolfe , their sister and Kota come to mind. Read these in order and read the prequel to Covet before reading the book...great read!

This book was incredibly steamy, first things first. The main couple was entertaining throughout, and oh, the heroine didn't make it easy for the hero. I was missing my BDSM reads, and this series was definitely a nice comeback into the genre. So addictive!!!!!! There's a lot of hurt in these books, in addition to the glossy steam and fun (only certain times). The world that Dani built continues here, and it opens up questions about what happens now! I can't wait to find out what will happen in the next book. That couple already has me intrigued.

I have fallen in love with this wonderfully dark, tortuous and erotic series.... Paige and Kael first appeared in the novella From The Ashes and now they take centre stage in a full length novel...

This author is a marvellous storyteller, adept at setting the scene and creating complex and believable characters.... the two main characters take turns to tell their version of events.... from the very beginning their conflicted emotions are identified with their continual struggle between the roles they have been forced to take on and their true selves..both are victims of the worlds they have been born into....in the face of adversity they are surrounded by a group of equally damaged men and women who offer support, salvation together with another layer of plot not... to mention some steamy and erotic moments....

This is a story of betrayal, intrigue, cruelty, family loyalty and secrets but also love which rises from the ashes of torment and tribulation......there is a warning that comes with the series which should be heeded by those commencing this journey; this imagined world is dark and the wicked deeds perpetrated within it are darker still......

Covet is the perfect title for this book......in the truest sense of this word almost every one of the characters is yearning to possess something, especially something belonging to another ...... the components of the story are worthy of a Shakespearian play; the heroes are tragically flawed and the villains despicable, brutal and ruthless... each book in the series is a standalone but the threads of the plot interweave and are best admired and understood by reading them in their entirety ........this book was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads

What a book! This book has all the darkness of the earlier ones, and all the beautifully complex relationships found in previous stories. This is part of a series, and you definitely want to read Risen from the Ashes first. Whatever you saw there you'll see here. It's well worth the money and read.

This story continues Kael's and Paige's story. They habe always been my favorite since their first book, so I was glad to see the rest of their story at last. There are definitely dark things and trigger wanrings here, so be warned. If you like those things in your dark romance, check it out! It's so good!

It's a full-length novel with enough happening to have you rooting for the couple, and it's a well-written, very hot and steamy story. If you love your dark BDSM, read this! I recommend it. I received a free advance reader copy of this book and then bought it because I liked it so much.

I loved it. I already loved Crave und From the Ashes by Dani René but reading and practically LIVING through the intensity of Paige's and Kael's love and the beginning of their relationship was so beautiful. Also, how two brothers with the same upbringing and (maybe even) therefore taste differ but STILL be so goddamned addictive in their own ways is something not many authors are capable of creating. As for Paige, her story is heartbreakingly beautiful. Her strength, her being, eeverything is making the reader feel for them. Dani Rene once again made it possible to fall in love with the characters and bind the reader's heart to it.
