(not as bad as the liquid stuff
Make sure you follow the directions TO THE LETTER, if you do you will be thrilled with the result. If you don't...you spent your money for nothing and you cannot get this stuff off once its on....so.... watch the YOUTUBE videos out there, learn from peoples mistakes and successes before you start.Make sure you wear gloves, googles and a nose mask, long sleeves and trousers..this stuff is NOT for use with children or near small animals. Discard your pouring and mixing containers safely and nowhere near where animals and kids can get their hands or mouth near.If you sand it down afterwards (because of drips that have set, and trust me...they set hard...) then use the same precautions for sanding as you have for mixing and pouring (do it outside, or a well-ventilated area), cover your nose and eyes...the 'dust' gets everywhere, is heavy and is NOT safe to inhale or ingest. Preferably keep a damp cloth nearby to wipe off the excess as often as you can. Dispose of the dust safely (don't bring it inside the house unless you need too). Do NOT sand this stuff down where you eat, or where small animals or children are - the dust is TOXIC....(not as bad as the liquid stuff, but enough to put you in hospital if you aren't careful and you breathe too much of the dust in).Make sure you give it at least 72 hours to cure. Be ready for a lot of dripping when you pour it, it seems to ooze and have a life all of its own when you have poured it and it is self leveling (did I say make sure your project is level before you start!) Protect your surfaces and discard the waste correctly. Then post your picture on Facebook of your magical creation and bask in the accolades of a job safely and well done :o) and be ready for lots of people asking you to teach them how to do it....for a small fee....or not....

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks like glass when fully cured
Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2020
I’ve only used this epoxy resin once but I really like it.
I make resin art pieces and I’ve used this to give an extra glossy coat to paintings and travertine tile coasters.
As with all epoxy resin, you need to let it fully cure for at least 20 days before you set things on it— especially a hot mug. Otherwise you get dents and scratches.
This is thick and shiny, which works brilliantly for coasters and embedded trays. After it fully cures, it looks like glass.
Follow the instructions and you’ll be just fine. No epoxy resin is truly “easy to use” if you’re the kind of person to just wing it and not read.
Please ignore the people who gave 3 or 4 stars because they didn’t know resin works. Ignorance on their part, does not have anything to do with the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pallet Wood Bar Top
Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2015
This was a very easy to use product. I would suggest first looking at online reviews and watching YouTube videos. Once poured down you're done! this thing sets up and is impenetrable.
I used it to pour over a pallet wood bar with beer caps on top. I first use concrete board caulked all surfaces, painted the top, and used poly to adhere caps to surface. Pouring was simple after finishing those steps. It took more than I expected but I am happy with the results. This was the first time I have attempted something like this so you can probably do it too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comes out crystal clear and durable
Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2021
I use this product to top my mosaic tables. When you carefully measure and mix according to instructions, it comes out perfect and hardens nicely. Very durable. Only con was that I let a bottle of hardener get old and it turned yellow
