Love it. Hope to keep using it forever.
I got the leatherbound version. It came in a well fitted box so nothing was damaged in transport. As advertised, it lays flat, it's a decent font size. Not particularly "large" but more average so you don't have to strain your eyes with a tiny font. Still, not recommended if you're hard of seeing. The good:Lays flat, has a bookmark ribbon, plenty of space for notes, regular font size (compared to a normal book, not a bible, see picture: "ch. 13" that's a side by side font comparison to a mass market paperback)The leather feels great and will hopefully keep better than some of the hardback bibles I've had in the pastThe meh:Has thinner paper than a regular book, but not terribly thin and transparent (I tried to show the amount of show through, but it's not terribly easy to see in real life and harder to see in the picture which is good. I only use a pencil and a "mr pen, sleek gel highlighter," which I use very lightly. If a pen were used for notes, it would likely show.) The pages are certainly thick enough to feel more normal and not like every misstep will leave a wrinkle. The size is... interesting. It's squatter and thicker than I expected, almost square. I put it on a shelf with various books for a size comparison, (see especially the blue pew bible at its side and the red and white mass market paperbacks). I don't mind the size at all, just don't expect it to fit well under the chairs/pews at church, haha.I'm not a fan of red lettering, but actually the red ink is a dark burgundy almost. So not terribly distracting or annoying.I thought the single column text might be annoying, but after using it for a few months, I realized I like it WAY more than the double column ESV journaling bible I used to use. I don't have to use a superscript to coordinate my notes to the text, because writing near the verses is easy and efficient. The bad:If you travel a lot, save the box. I generally put books in a ziplock when travelling to keep the pages from getting smooshed/damaged by pens or something. This book (the leatherbound) is too flexible and warp-able to reasonably protect in that manner. Thankfully I kept the box, and I use that whenever I need to throw this in a backpack or luggage. The cover is plain to the point of ugliness, which is my only real qualm. Blank leather, basically. The spine is no better. Bible and KJV are on the spine, but it gets lost in the ridiculous "Journal the Word" title. Really? The book is a KJV bible, all the company did was add some blank lines yet the title is 90% about the blank space?... dumb. I'm more a fan of the traditional bold HOLY BIBLE so there's no question what the book is at a distance--but maybe that's just me.Conclusion:I've version hopped over my walk with Christ, so I've had several different bibles of different kinds. Many hardbacks have broken down at the creases either due to overuse, tropical weather, missionary/military work and travel, what have you, so that I have a collection of duct-tape bibles. Now that I've settled on my preferred version (KJV) this is the first bible I hope and expect to last for a long long time. Fingers crossed for this to be my last bible ever, depending on how it stands up to time.

This wide margin is a great option for anyone who is looking to engage the scriptures with note taking and it’s a less expensive option than buying a high end premium bible in wide margin in the $100 to $300 pice range, makes for good practice to start off with something under $40 and learn from any mistakes and move into a premium wide margin bible that was my purpose of buying this bible, I remember looking through a few bibles I’ve highlighted that don’t have wide margins but never took the time to write notes on separate notebook which I actually don’t like doing, I rather write notes directly in the bible, I did take notes in the back of my highlighted bibles but didn’t bother to write down the chapter and verse 🤦🏽‍♂️ I’m learning from these newbie errors so I decided to buy this bible as my beginners wide margin bible and organize all my highlighted verses with color coded notes, I haven’t started yet because I’m organizing my thoughts and ideas on a piece of paper and I’ll start jotting down notes on this great little bible in no time, only thing that I was disappointed with there’s no references so I’ll be using my little Allan RubyKJV rebind shown in pictures for this review, the journaling bible itself is the perfect size not too long or wide, it’s thick but that’s perfectly fine with me I have no problem with that, I love the color of the pages the binding is tight and the imitation leather with stitching looks beautiful, I’m sure they could sell these bibles for $20 $30 dollars more and ppl would buy them. The craftsmanship is excellent it’s Quality Bible in the KJV translation it doesn’t get any better than that, the font size is dark and readable I don’t think it’s a Large Print like for instance AMG NASB 77 which I highly recommend by the way, the print size in this journaling bible is normal in my opinion very clear and readable but calling it Large Print is stretching it lol. Anyways I hope this review helps anyone having doubts it’s well made build like a tank comes in a nice hard box it doesn’t get any better than this. God bless ✝️🙏🏽❤️

If you are looking for a quality bible for journaling, note-taking or creatively making your own with pencils, pens, markers or even pastels or watercolors, you will find this to be an excellent choice. The paper is of good quality and thick enough that bleed-thru wont be a problem with a few carefully chosen art supplies and good quality bible markers/highlighters etc. The only thing I am less than thrilled about is the color of the paper is somewhat on the yellow side. I was hoping for a creamy tan, but it is definitely on the yellow side. Otherwise I am happy with everything else about it. The font is large, and makes for easy reading. And the bonded leather cover and binding are very good. This is a thick, chunky bible with generous margins. You wont be disappointed.

So I couldn’t find this Bible anywhere. I looked on all the websites that sells it and it was out of stock or on back order on every site. I ended up finding one on eBay but it was used and I wanted a brand new Bible. Finally I stumbled across it on here because a third party seller had it in stock for $49. This Bible was worth the patience and the searching. I hope I can use it forever and pass it down to my daughter. If you can find this Bible, GET IT!

First the pluses:
I love the amount of space between the lines, the size of the print is big and easy to read, it is a little shorter than alot of Bibles so it fits on my lap more easily, and the cover is gorgeous! Also, when I take notes in pen or use highlighters, the ink doesn't leak through to the other side! SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT!

however:
It is a little heavier and thicker than some other Bibles, but I knew what I was getting, the paper is not super thick but is medium thick and still absorbs the writing very well.

I absolutely love it! Thank you for helping me improve my devotional time!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect bible! 🥰
Reviewed in Canada on June 7, 2021
This bible is everything that I had ever asked for. Before receiving it, I thought it was a huge bible which I was ok with, but it turned out to be the perfect size. It's much smaller than it looks. It's wider than the small bible I have because this has room for notes. No need to have a notebook, just pick up the bible and go! The leather is nice, the color is nice, the font size is the right size and the pages feel nice. The only negative thing I could say about it‌, is that it has no maps. It has about 2 pages of notes at the end and thats that. A very simple yet beautiful Bible. And expect it to be a bit heavy.
