Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I used it to make board cream and it worked great. No horrible smell like other fake beeswax products on amazon. Smelled lightly of honey, melted well and worked perfect for my project.
I read the reviews cautioning against this product, but in the end, decided to be a "half-full" shopper. I was going to use this to stop the squeaks on my wooden bed by rubbing the rails with these, so I thought if they weren't "pure" it would be ok. I was wrong. I'm very familiar with the real thing, and these are not even close. These are sticks of petroleum, and in no way do they have any portion of real beeswax in them. The smell is absolutely horrific and would be a failure even for my purposes.
