I’ve been on the look out for dark bronzers so I purchased this as soon as I saw it. It’s a great product for contouring but it doesn’t have any noticeable shimmer or reflective quality so I don’t consider it a bronzer.I would still purchase it again, just not from Amazon. The powder may be too delicate for the shipping process. It arrived as pictured. There was a small portion of product missing. It wasn’t a huge deal to me but the powder had escaped the compact and was inside of the packaging.

I am dark complexed and just getting into bronzers since I normally do not wear make-up, and have not worn a foundation in more than 22 years. I tried the Bare Minerals gel tinted moisturizer in the colour Chestnut, but it made me feel as if I was wearing make-up. I got this bronzer after doing much research. I have the 110, purchased from Wal-mart and since they never had the 120 in stock, I ordered it from here, Amazon. I love both; wonderful products. I use very lightly to add just the right amount of coverage to even out my skin tone. Either colour works for me depending on if I am going out at night or to a business meeting in the day and I feel like putting something on to give that somewhat finished look. It is perfect for a novice like me. What surprised me the most was the quality of the product versus the cost. I have to honestly say, that I have had to take a new look at Cover Girl products. Their Queen Line is absolutely wonderful. My skin will react to poorly made or formulated products. So far I have not had a single negative reaction to these products or this line. The lip glosses are wonderful but this bronzer really is the icing on the cake. In my research, this bronzer came up highly recommended with other brand names, high priced in the same category. I highly recommend it. I also have a feeling it is going to last for a very long time since such a small amount is needed per usage.

I've always been interested in creating different makeup looks, and lately I've been watching plenty of Youtube tutorials trying to master the whole concept of "highlighting and contouring". I'm a dark skinned, African female and I usually watch Youtube beauty gurus that resemble a similar complexion to me, just because I find it to be easier when actually going out and purchasing the products.

On quite a few of the makeup tutorials that I saw, Covergirl Queen Natural Hue Mineral Bronzer was used to give that "contoured" effect along the cheekbones and around the hairline and jaw line. I purchased ebony bronze and it's literally the perfect shade. It gives me that perfect contoured look without looking too harsh or fake and it literally lasts all day. I have extremely oily skin, so I know what it's like to spend an hour doing your makeup, only to look like a greasy strip of bacon 4 hours later and I can testify that this powder does not budge even on the hottest days.

The powder is very easy to apply, I just used a blush brush and I'm able to get the desired look with not much effort. Definitely great quality for the price.

I have medium brown skin with yellow undertones. Every bronzer I purchased didn't give me effect I was looking for. They were either too light or too shimmery. I'm not 12, I don't need to be walking around with glitter on my face. This shade, although it looks really dark, warmed my skin up perfectly. I really don't have to wear blush anymore because this provides enough color and warmth on my cheeks. A little goes a long way so no need to use a lot of product when applying. I use a really large powder brush to evenly disperse and it can also act as a contour for your cheeckbones without giving you a harsh look. You can't beat the price and I will definitely purchase again in the future.

Update (5/30/16): I've had this product almost 1yr (about 20days short of a year) and the poor quality is showing. It is beginning to dry out in the middle making it crumble & difficult to use. It almost looks like what happens if you drop water in a makeup powder pan (i've done that before--"d'oh"), how it gets dark, rough, and difficult to lift with a brush but that's not the case here. I haven't hit pan yet (the metal pan it sits on isn't showing), it never leaves my house, it is always housed in my makeup organizers atop my vanity along with all of my other products and this is the only only that is having this happening. My other makeup products are higher end Fashion Fair, Mac (lots of mac), Urban Decay, Smashbox, etc. I have some Mac powders that are so old I probably shouldn't be using any longer but even those don't have this issue, so at not even a year I'm a little disappointed. However considering the cost, I still say it's "okay" and just use a sponge and a little more effort to lift and apply. Unfortunately since it does not seem to last I probably would not buy it again.

This is great for contouring. I use it over my cream foundation stick (that I contour with) to give a softer appearance in the daytime, around the bridge of my nose, and perimeter of my face. I'm a MAC nw45 and this is a great contour shade. You can build it up a little for drama or keep it subtle. There's no glitter effect, but a subtle bronzing. I would NOT use this as a face powder or as a typical bronzer. It's just too dark, but I knew that when I ordered & I ordered it for contour.

My next makeup day I used this to contour my face in place of my Sleek contour palette I have. I love that this is a warm reddish brown color cause it give you a warm look on the face.
