Goutime Canopy Weight Bags Set of 4

This Weight Bags (4 pack) would be a perfect investment for outdoor and indoor use, for versatile purposes more than just canopy, tent but also gazebo, cantilever offset umbrella, awning and more.

Filled with wet sand or dirt, each bag weighs up to 40 pounds with sand and even weighs up to 50 pounds when filled with rock, gravel and pebbles.

Double Lock System

Specially designed double lock system will ensure the weight bags wrapped tightly around the legs（Diameter 0.8-2 inches）of your instant canopy, gazebo, umbrella. Your canopy would never escape from the wrap of the weights even in strong wind.

Durable Fabric

High quality zip closure system, easy to fill and release, will not leak or get stuck. Made of 600D PVC backed polyester with double stitching for durability.

Fill the bags and attach to the canopy


Open the zipper, place your hand in the bag, and then unfold the bag into a cylindrical shape. Push down a plastic bag into the weight bag as the liner (Non-essential)	Pour sand into the bag with a shovel, or fill the bag with gravel or pebbles. Shake and bounce the bag to purge air until it is full.	Open all the velcro strips and align the middle of the bag with the pole. Close the vertical velcro tape in the middle for wrapping around the pole.	Wrap the outside Velcro strap hugs around the bag and stick it. repeat the above steps to wrap all legs with bags

I bought these sand bags to hold down the 10 x 30 white party tent. The bags work great. The tent is cheaply made and broke after the first day. I was able to fix the tent (Macgyver style) and order another set of the sand bags to hold down all the legs. I filled them up with sand they are nice and heavy. Much needed if you are purchasing the white tent.

I had ordered a different brand and the first day the velcro tore off the canopy. So as to say very upset. But Amazon REFUNDED my money. So I did more research and bought these. Yes,..they were more money about $13.00. However you get what you pay for. These BAGS ARE GREAT!! Very well built. Very sturdy and have a strap also that wraps around the both bags. I would highly recommend this product 😁

These work great for holding down my pool's solar cover. I filled them with sand and the weight they can hold really does the job. They also work well on the legs of my canopy sunshade. Some sand does leak out of the zippers and they do break down exposed to the elements. I now get two years service from them by storing them inside during the winter. But exposure to sun and rain for two seasons will pretty much do them in. All in all though, they work great and are a good value even if they only last two years.

Perfect weights for screen gazebo long term use

We used these this summer from June through September on our screen gazebo. I was initially concerned about the high winds in our area, and the fact that the screened gazebo would be directly on grassy lawn. The weights held up! This gazebo only moved when we wanted it to. The pouches are cloth and have a velcro strap to attatch to the legs of the gazebo, which are large metal (not thin like a canopy, and it fit perfectly). We filled them up with small pebble rock gravel. This took a little bit of time and was messy. We made a funnel from cardboard, but the pebbles were dusty and heavy, so needed to be scooped into the bag weight, not poured. Also, it took a few bags to fill completely, and we still could have used another bag of rocks to top off the large fabric weights. But, this did the job, and that's what matters most! Great product, and we're hoping to use it again next season.

If you were like me and wanted to take advantage of a great deal, this is not your product. The handle on one ripped out at the first use, even when it wasn't used as the sole method of lifting the heavy sand bag. Then after literally 30 days since purchase, the seam on one of the Velcro that straps the two bags together ripped almost with ease. The zippers leak sand if the bag is ever not upright, which makes traveling with them difficult.

These are not made with the quality they need to be in order to be filled with 40 lbs of sand. Attempting to contact the seller so they can make this right is impossible.

UPDATE: After reading my initial review, the vendor sent me the latest version and they are indeed much stronger, but they're still not quite stout enough. Within just a few uses, one has developed a hole resulting in sand everywhere. Short of increasing the durability of the bag, I think I'll need to line the bags with thick plastic sheeting to help prevent leaks. I increased my star rating from 1 to 3 due to their legit effor to make a better product

Perhaps I got the first of a new design because the ones I got are pretty horrible and certainly not worthy of more than a star or two. Once filled, you have to handle them VERY carefully. If one tips over before its secured to the tent leg, the zipper will pop open and sand will spill out. It's not an exaggeration to say you have to treat the filled bag like a very heavy egg carton when loading and unloading. They can't be dropped (even from a few inches), and must be set down very gently to prevent the cheap zipper from popping apart. I've used them about 3 times so far, and one already has a hole midway up. I'm going to try lining them with a couple of strong trash bags to see if that helps make them usable for something other than spewing sand everywhere they're used or stored.
