I Do NOT Recommend These Shoes

I Do NOT Recommend These Shoes
I live in Hawai'i and do a lot of hikes on the different islands. I was looking for a new hiking shoe and came across these ones. I wear a size 10 US in most all my shoes, which still gives me the "1/2 in" room for your toes. The first 2 hikes I did in them were shorter waterfall hikes, about 2-3 miles and they were ok. Just breaking them in and getting used to them. Might I also add these are NOT non-slip, which I wish I would have done better research on, because you slip like crazy in the wet mud and wet rocks. Also, if you have wide feet these shoes are NOT for you as they are extremely narrow. My feet aren't extremely wide, I have never really had a problem with my feet or had to order special wide shoes for my feet. On my third hike with these shoes I did a true dry trail hike and the grip was great for the trail, but the shoe was so narrow I had to stop and turn around after about 30-45 min of hiking because the side of my pinkie toes and the top of my foot were getting torn up and began burning-getting blisters or cuts on them. I am honestly not happy with my purchase and I would not recommend these specific shoes for hiking. I feel like I just wasted $130 on hiking shoes because I will never wear them again if they're going to do this to my feet. I wish there was a better return policy on shoes where you could turn them back in for your money back or for another pair shoes of your choosing.A shoe that I do recommend from Under Armour would be the Highlight Delta Running shoes. They look like "bodybuilder" or wrestling shoes, but they are extremely comfortable for the gym and running.

I bought this shoe for the trail, as well as marching around Chicago when the weather starts taking a turn in the fall, and I absolutely love them. Its very light for a shoe in the category, the fit is perfect for me because I don't like a lot of play to cause sliding around and blistering....and the yellow toe box on black looks awesome (even better than the pic). Some notes if you are considering...1.) This is a Trail shoe, not just a running shoe....so not only will you forfeit some of the flexibility, the membrane and rubber toe box on the upper restricts some of the airflow you would get from a standard runner and is going to make it a warmer shoe overall. (which is fine because weather resistance was more important for me). 2.) It does seem to be relatively narrow. My feet are a normal off the shelf kindof width, so I was able to use longer lacing system to adjust to a wider/perfect fit. People with wider feet are probably going to have a problem (as seen in reviews below). 3.) Size DOES run small...I ordered a 1/2 size larger and that did the trick. 4.) The Tongue doesn't bother me like is seemed to others, but I wear 3/4 trail socks so may make a diff. 4.) I have not tested on trails....but several online trail reviews seemed very favorable on the technical off-road aspects, so check em out if thats most important factor.

Ouch! These shoes look fantastic but they destroy my feet, beware. Because the uppers are made of a rigid, inflexible material they clean up nice and are light, but as in the case of a previous reviewer the uppers dig into your foot when you flex the shoe bruising and creating blisters. If you cut from side to side the uppers don't give and the top of my foot has bruising, which is pretty painful. I thought that I could get away with wearing these around the house but I can't even do that because it hurts too much. I highly don't recommend these shoes!

These shoes look really cool. Lots of compliments. But I’ve had them 3 weeks and I still get blisters on my feet. On my pinky toe, on my heel, on the side of my foot, and on my ankles. I tried running, and after 3 minutes I had new blisters on my ankles (after I had healed older ones). Unless I’m wearing high rise socks or bandaids I will get new or worse blisters. Do not get these shoes.

I write this review because I don’t want anyone else to experience this but I also write this for under Armour. I love this company and I don’t want them to get a bad wrap on this one shoe. I’ve always had their shoes and have always been good. This shoe is just a bad egg. I want to help under armour from any more bad reviews and help customers from painful blisters.

I just received these shoes last night, so this morning I decided to go on a little trail run. The shoes are very comfortable while running on dirt and gravel roads and feel very light. My only complaint is the long tongue which is pretty stiff as well. I wear a no show sock so the tongue rests on my leg just above the sock. While I didn't notice it during my run, I did end up with a blister just above my ankle on the front of my leg that tore after my three mile jog. I think that if you wear a longer sock, this will be a non issue. The included photo shows the difference in tongue height between my Nikes and the UAs, you can see the blister on the leg with the Nikes on.
