Lawton drew me in from the first sentence and kept me hooked to the end. I was actually annoyed when the book was finished...I wanted more.

Lawton draws realistic, compelling characters with relatable flaws. I felt like I'd crawled into the heroine, Jules's, skin and became her. Lawton ripped out my heart and destroyed it. I cried, I sobbed and I bawled like a baby.

Follow the emotional roller coaster with a satisfying holiday reunion and you've got an incredible story.

The best book I've read in a long time.

I identified with the heroine because of life experiences, mine was worse but I understood the trust issues. Juliana had a lot of trust issues because of a cheating ex boyfriend. She struggled with letting Tanner become more than friends. Once she did let him in, her evil roommate sent her pictures of Tanner "cheating" on her. He didn't remember that night, and there was a lot of angst back and forth with both loving each other still despite the break up, and being very depressed without the other. Turns out the evil roommate roofied Tanner and staged the pictures to break them up. After that, they got their HEA.
