I love my go active water bottle, however the lid did crack when it fell. I've contacted customer service twice to find a replacement and I've not received a response. Currently the water bottle is useless as it doesn't have a tight close, and water leaks. Hopefully I can get someone to return my email and I can get a new lid and get back to loving my GoActive water bottle.

I was looking for a replacement for my plastic water jug that cracked and I came across the Go Active Stainless Steel Water Bottle. After reading the good reviews and comparing with similar products I decided to purchase this bottle because I like the colors, the price was really good, and I like the rubber grip on the outside because I will use this bottle a lot on hikes or runs where I am sweaty and don’t want the bottle to slip. I bought the white one for my sister too because she works out with me a lot and she thought it was a pretty color.

The second day I had the bottle I was out on my deck reading and I knocked the bottle off the deck into the drive way 2 stories below! I thought for sure the bottle was done, but to my surprise the only part that was damaged was a crack on the plastic lid! The rubber part was fine! I called to the Go Active customer service and asked if they sold replacement lids and told them my story. Rather than charge me the customer service rep, Justin I think, had a good laugh with me and said that they would be happy to replace the bottle for free! I received my replacement today and it even had a hand written note to “watch out for ledges” signed by the customer service. In this day and age where being a customer usually feels like you are just another number, these guys really went the extra mile and I am happy to give them my repeat business.

All in all I am very happy with my purchase and the performance of the bottle and I have already bought another bottle for my friend’s birthday gift because she does a lot of yoga and especially during her hot yoga classes this bottle will be perfect for keeping her water ice cold. Thank you Go Active Living!

This is a review of the Go active 24oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle.

This item came well packaged, the box was professionally printed, I would expect to find this product on the shelf of a big box sporting goods store. In the box was the water bottle, cap and a straw. The cap has a silicone O-ring attached, the cap has a built in straw and folds flush with the D-ring of the cap.

I have several of these bottles with all the same/similar design. Basically, this is a stainless steel bottle that unless you have the stainless steel uncoated bottle. The bottle has a coating that inhibits sweat and has a pseudo rubber feel that makes gripping the bottle easy and comfortable. Unscrewing the cap leads to a wide mouth opening where you can get full ice cubes into the bottle.

I tested this by initially by filling with lemonade and some ice, I would carry this to work and keep it next to me throughout the day. I need to note that the bottle does fit in the larger of my car’s cup holder. It does sort of fit in the smaller, but the base will not meet the base of the car cup holder. I also have never used this with hot/warm liquids.

I use the bottle every night, I fill it with lemonade or water and ice and it sits on my night stand. Every morning, I have ice remaining, more often than not, the ice is 75% of the size when it was filled. I have not seen any sweat, and I have yet to have a leak from the cap. I will say though, that I have a bunch of nicks and scratches from there the bottle has come in contact with my keys.

The bottle has a nice feel to it, the cap while made of plastic is sturdy. The only issue I have seen with all of the same/similar bottles are that the straws are all different. Some straws fit inside the caps hole, some fit around the outside of the hole in the cap. Some straws reach the bottom of the bottle, while others are 1 inches from the bottom. One of the comparable models, the seller offers replacement caps, and other replacement straws. I have found it to be hit or miss when I have purchased both the cap and/or replacement straws.
Overall this product keeps the liquid cold and thermally, retains the temp so ice remains solid after 6-8 hours. It has nice weight, there are general several color options, price point for the GO active brand is a bit higher than the competition for basically the exact same product with just a different name on it.

I rate this at 4 ½ stars, you are paying a small premium for the “GO Active” brand, which honestly up to this purchase I had never heard of before. Either way, choosing to purchase this item, you will be pleased that it performs well and the color options are a bit more appealing than the competition. You really cannot go wrong.

Fabulous, light-weight and does keep ice for a very long time. I don't know if it lasts for 24 hours because I keep refilling it with water that is around 62 degrees, so each time the ice melts that is already in the bottle. It fits in my cup holder just fine. My only complaint is, I drive a stick shift and my arm bangs into it when I shift to 2nd and 4th gears, but it is do-able. Maybe I should have gotten a 16 oz instead? The woodwork in our house appreciates the snap shut sipper because it really does seal and when the bottle is knocked over it doesn't leave a mess. Thank you for a great product.

I’m a busy mom of two and always on the go and every time I reach to grab a drink the straw has always fallen out. Incredibly annoying when you’re out and about and you don’t want to manually put in your straw with unclean hands. Not worth the price, don’t waste your money.
