This game was a surprise hit for my 6 year old’s birthday. It is quick to set up & quick to play. You won’t be stuck there all day. All ages loved it, from my 5 year old niece to my teens & even myself & my husband. This pic shows my 9 year old, our neighbor who is 13, my 12 year old, and my 6 year old. I almost bought a second set so that more of us could play (this is up to 4 at a time). I like how it can be 1 person play, or up to 4. A round goes quickly so they can take turns if there are more than 4. My only complaints (and I can’t even dock a star, we love this game so much): one plastic beaker cracked pretty quickly & a bit of the bottom of it chipped off. This doesn’t affect game play. Also, I wish the cards were sorted by difficulty so that young kids could pick up Level 1 and teens/adults could pick up an Advanced card. The difficulty of the setup is random in the card deck & not marked, so it’s hit or miss who gets a super easy card that round.

I’d been looking at this for a while. We have quite a few dexterity games for our kids, and while this one is a little advanced for both of them to play, we do, and everyone has a great time with this.

One of my favorite things is that you can play this game with different dexterity difficulty levels. They are suggested in the rule book. Additionally, if you are playing with kids, you can self impose those rules on yourself while playing, to kind of even the playing field if playing with younger children. This game works well for our six year old. He can easily play and do well even using the easier rules. The cards are a very nice material, and the beakers and marbles are great. The insert fits these things really well, although it wouldn’t fit sleeved cards (I like to sleeve game cards, but I won’t bother with these because the cards are great quality and you don’t need to shuffle them much, except once a game - you could not do that if you were going to play a couple games in a sitting though because it comes with a bunch of cards if you wanted).

This game is a unique dexterity game which will definitely get played a lot with the kids. I do think it will get played with adults too as it is funny but also competitive because of its race aspect. I could even see buying a second set for a larger group to play. If you had a card stand, it would be pretty easy for 8 people to see. This game is a lot of fun, and is quick to play (can finish in 15 minutes easy, with a full group even. If I was being nit picky, I would wish that it came with an extra color marble of each, just in case, but I really don’t see that as an issue. If you really had to, the game is so cheap you could buy a new set if needed. Great unique game!

Have bought several games from this company and they never disappoint. It is a thinking game where you have to rearrange the balls in a beaker without touching them before the other person. Kids love it.

This game is great for my puzzle loving 7 year old. Also fun and was easy for my 5 year old with developmental delays to join in and practice fine motor activity as well as pattern recognition and color matching. We usually don’t use the timer but instead do them as challenge cards and keep trying until everyone gets it. I also enjoy it which is nice when I’m stuck playing kid game’s for the next five years. I appreciate well thought out, engaging games that I can enjoy WITH my kids and that build skills too!!

Purchased this for my 6 year old boy for Christmas (intended), but my kids were so bored inside the house because of rain for several days straight. They couldn’t go outside and have played all other games they had, and hours and hours of Lego, then I decided it was time to give one of the games originally intended as a Christmas gift. My 6 year old boy, of course, enjoyed it. My 10 year old daughter, whom i didn’t think would enjoy this, actually enjoyed it too.
Pros: Miminal Setup. Simple Rules. Can be played as one person game or up to 4 people. Rules can be altered to fit children’s age.
Cons: test tubes and balls are small. I wish they were a bit bigger.
We played this as a family, my husband, myself, and two kids age 6 and 10. For adults, this game is easy. For 10 year old, this is just the right level of difficulties (not so difficult but not so boring). For 6 year old, it gives him great deal of accomplishment. When my two kids and I play, we do not compete against each other or time it. When we play as a family, my husband and my daughter would team up and my son and i would team up and we would try to complete as many cards as we can and sum up the number of cards that we completed. We usually come within 1 or two cards of the opponents, so even when they lose, they don’t feel so bad. We have not advanced enough to play “look at the card and guess how many steps it would take to complete the task”. That will probably for 10 years and up.
As this is still new to us, I am not sure about repeatability. Not sure if my kids would get bored after a week or so. I will update my review in a while.

It is a simple game and clearly favors skill over will. When we play competitively as a family we consistently have the same results. Same when our kids play it with friends. I would not recommend as a competitive game. Big HOWEVER... this has been great for our kids who are getting more into STEM as it unlocks the logic centers of the brain. Almost cried when the littles started to figure it out without any help. Great brain tease on a lazy afternoon.

What a fun game! It's a logic puzzle and coordination test disguised as a really fun game - and there are no batteries to buy! Our whole family loves it and our 8 year-old has taught everyone who will listen how to play . . . and they all became fans too! The game goes quickly and you can play according to the rules or, if you're anything like our family, you can make up your own house rules. For example, we follow the "no using your hands" and "if you spill, you lose" rules but choose to play until all the cards are gone and then see who has the most to determine who wins. Anyway, if you're looking for something that your kiddos can play by themselves but isn't tedious to sit and play along with them you have found the right game.

What is not to love about this game! Oh my goodness, so much fun. My children, 12 and 9, both adore this game as do my parents, both in their 70s and many of the friends and family who we have introduced this to. We have yet to find someone who doesn't love it. I will say that this game is best played amongst groups of similarly aged players as there is a very large difference between the spatial reasoning of a younger child and an adult or teenager. My 9 year old grew very frustrated when his grandpa was able to reason out the puzzles much more quickly then him but was much more engaged, encouraged and delighted with the game mechanics when he played against an evenly matched group of other kids his own age. This game has also been pulled out for a group of adults after the kids were in bed. It was so much fun racing against other adults and I think we may have had more fun than the kids... Although admittedly adult beverages made the experience even more fun. I must admit I have even toyed with expanding the 'group playability' by buying another copy as this would create a great party game for bigger gatherings. This game still gets played regularly with no less enjoyment now than it did when it was fresh for us. How many games can you say that about?
