    This is my first NICE helmet. Prior to this, I had been using an inexpensive auto darkening helmet. It did what it was supposed to do- But not like this helmet does!

    I was a bit unsure about spending this kind of money on a helmet, since I am only an occasional hobby welder. But I am glad I did! First, it is VERY comfortable to wear. The suspension adjusts nicely to a 'custom' fit. I have an abnormally large head, and at times it is tough for me to find helmets that fit, but this one does just fine, yet adjusts down small enough that my three year old daughter can wear it, too!

    The window is VERY clear when the shade is off, allowing me to see my work and tools clearly. When it darkens, I still have a nice clear view of what's going on where I am welding.

    The flip-up grinding shield is great, too- It allows me to switch between welding and grinding quickly.

    I have mine paired with a CoolBelt, which blows air across the faceplate to both keep me cool and reduce the condensation on the lens, a huge plus for me since I always cause masks to fog up when I am working.

    I am amazed at how much this has helped my welding- Actually being able to SEE what I am doing is a huge plus!

    Grind button is nice and xmode works great in the sun. Had to fix the lends clip because it melted through. ADF quit working after a year or so. Was a gift so not able to warranty. I had to use anti spatter because the face sheild kept getting holes burnt through the paint.

    Very high quality product. I use mine at least 5 times a week and it's worth every penny. Battery life is excellent and it has all the bells and whistles you could think of. Have almost 48 hrs of arc time on mine and it has functioned flawlessly from day one. Had the helmet for 7 months now and I love it.
