You do not want to miss this. I loved everything about this at first I wasn’t real thrilled with it, but as the story moved along, I couldn’t help but absolutely love it. Everything about this book was a huge turn on. It was so well written, and the storyline is just, amazing as is the sex scenes. If you are not turned on by this book and you’re dead inside. This is a definite must read.

Definitely not like TL Swans more recent tales but I know I have read this well beyond it’s release date - some 4 years late but better late than never.

This story had a rawness to it that would not be possible in other TL Swan books but Stace and Rosh are not you usual TL Swan characters.

Roshell was outwardly a good person, a nurse and loyal. Friend and partner to her boyfriend, until the night she witnesses a murder and is taken captive.
Her captors attempt to do unspeakable things to her but her fighting sprit and tenacity keep her relatively unharmed but her knight in shining armour, Stace (Mac) oversees the evil band of pirates and smugglers who captured her and his mission is to keep this intriguing woman safe from him own men.

A fast paced thrill ride of a story, culminating not how you anticipate but bringing hours of wonderful reading to enjoy. Different but definitely worth the read.

Let me begin by saying. I absolutely love T.L. Swan. I've read most of her books. And have loved All of them. That being said. Rochelle made me want to throat punch her. She has been the most iritating female lead I've ever read. And the other part was it took a good 20 to 25% of the book was slow getting started. I put it down and picked it back up several times because it just didn't take off.

This is one of this phenomenal authors novels, but just goes to show how long she has been able to captivate her readers. Rochelle catches her boy friend Todd shoving his tongue down her flatmates throat. When both of them have separate excuses to not be around. She suspects and follows them. Discovering their liaison in a nightclub, she rushes out into a dark alley way, where she witnesses a murder. Unfortunately she cannot return through the door as it is locked from the inside. So she has to face the music. Attacked and almost raped she is bustled into the trunk of a car. Mac is supposedly one of her kidnappers but he is also a protector!! The story unfolds. There is humour, drugs, despicable characters and sad ones. Whist on board a ship she enters into a torrid affair with Mac/Stace and learns an awful lot. She is befriended by a girl called Angela, who allows Rochelle to see more than is in front of her. A firecracker, she has a running past and many secrets, just like Mac/Stace. However the two go from captor to captive . The romance scenes are tie curling, and the humour between the two endearing. A fast flowing, well written and executed story, that keeps the reader on the end of their seat. Drama, and tragedy are present, as well as murder, theft and intrigue. Absolutely fantastic .
