After a miserable camping experience in the mountains last summer with a leaky, cold-conducting air mattress that makes my hips ache (I'm often a side sleeper), I began to search for other sleeping surface options that I hoped could make camping a more enjoyable, well-rested experience for me. I am thrilled to report that this mat has transformed my tent sleeping experience. We used it this past weekend primitive camping.

The ground was lumpy due to clumpy vegetation, but when lying on the Exped Sim Duo, we never would have guessed there were lumps underneath us. My brother, however, using a foam sleeping pad combined with a thin inflatable pad felt every lump underneath him, giving him a much rougher night's sleep. Guess what he wants now!

I did let it inflate for over 24 hours at home after it arrived, as recommended, to prepare it for our first camping trip. It was easy to deflate and roll back up to fit in its sack. I was dubious when I unrolled it after setting up our tent. It looked so flat, but I opened the inflate valve and after a few hours, it was fully inflated. I added a few breaths of air to make it a bit firmer, and it was in perfect form for a post-hike nap.

I can't wait for our next camping trip because I know it won't involve a fitful, uncomfortable night's sleep.

My boyfriend and I were looking (and trying out) double mattresses for a while before we landed on this one - and our search stops here! Yes, this is a little more spendy than others but SO very much worth it for the quality of materials and craftsmanship. The foam feels like memory foam - so swishy and comfy! It needs a quick 5 min assist with blowing up (mini pump was included!!) then get ready for the best night sleep camping you've ever had! So much better than an all air mattress that wakes you up if you or our partner move an inch. It inflates easily to 3 inches thick. We both slept like a baby and were incredibly impressed by this product!!

This is the best night sleep I have ever gotten on an air mattress. I does roll up pretty big ( approx 30" long x 12" Diameter) so packing it in a backpack really isn't feasible but this would be great for car camping or canoe accessed camping. There is plenty of room for two people and a small dog. The fabric seems tough enough to take the abuse of my four legged friend and it seems quite well insulated.

Excellent sleeping pad.

I have been using Amazon for years and have never written a review until now. Yup. This product is THAT good. I normally use a Therm-a-rest Neo Air X-Lite backpacking pad for car camping as it was my only pad for a while. While the Neo Air is a really nice backpacking pad, I wanted something more comfortable when I don't have to worry about the extra weight. The Exped SIM Comfort Duo is so much more comfortable and keeps you very warm. It can also be folded in half using the Velcro flap on the side if you want to double up for extra comfort or warmth. This is the perfect pad if you want something really comfortable for solo camping but can also unfold to a nice size to share with an SO or even pets. While on the expensive side, I think it is well worth the money. There's not many pads like this being sold, so get this while it is still available. It is so versatile and well designed, I am not quite sure why Exped is no longer making it (2018).

The best camping mat I've ever owned, and have had several. I have not used a camping pad that is as comfortable as this one, that said I have never folded it in half even when using it solo. It's just that good you don't even have to. The quality of the pad is second to none, and their customer service is top notch in my opinion. The pad is so robust that a spartan friend of mine has been using his as his bed at home for over a year, he loves it and says he wont go back to using a mattress. When I go to visit friends with questionable sleeping arrangements I always bring it, that way I know I will get a comfortable bed without lumps, guaranteeing a good nights rest. If I ever have to replace it, I will surely be buying another Exped product.

Man muss einfach mal sagen: Die Matratze ist Hervorragend

Also keine Fasern die fusseln könnten.

Also richtig gut verarbeitet.
