The Coleman® SaluSpa® AirJet™ provides a soothing massage experience for up to 4 people, while still being quick and easy to set up. Simply attach the pump and watch as it inflates. Soothing Massage System: The AirJet system features 140 jets which release bubbles from the bottom of the spa to create a warm, bubbling hot tub environment. These soothing bubbles will help you relax and unwind right from the comfort of your home. Contents: Equipped with a pump that quickly inflates the spa, heats it up, runs filtration and controls the massage system, this spa is both easy and convenient. The pump can easily be reached from inside the spa and features cup holders for drinks and snacks. Also included is a ChemConnect™ dispenser that maintains clean, healthy water by evenly dispersing the proper amount of chlorine. To top it all off, this Coleman spa comes with a reinforced cover that locks in heat while not in use, as well as keeping dust and debris from collecting on the water.

My observations:
Seats 4 people? I'm going to disagree on that one. If the 4 adults are average to smaller people, and you are SUPER comfortable with bumping legs with them, then you're good. I would say 3 adults or 2 adults and a very active toddler at most are a good fit. I am 5'5", and I can stretch out from one side to the other and barely reach the side with my feet. My husband is 6'5", and if he wants to lay on his back and stretch out completely, he has to put his feet outside of the tub and rest them on the side. There is tons of room in this spa, and most folks will enjoy sitting and stretching their legs out in front of them with no problem, even for the giants among us :-)
Seating within the tub? Not a problem, the bottom of the spa is very comfy and a great place to rest your tush - shorter people (me) may find they bob a bit - but, it hasn't been a problem for me.
Heating of the spa? It has a compact unit (the green egg-looking thing) that controls the heating, water pumping for filtration, and the bubbles. It can be set for a maximum of 104 degrees - and trust me, that is warm. Here's the rub - maintenance of the temperature of your spa is affected by the ambient temperature of the air around the motor air intake, as the motor pulls in air directly from the environment and feeds it into the spa where it comes out of a ring with holes located around the bottom of the spa floor. The bubbles are fabulous - very relaxing and soothing, but if it's a bit cooler in your environment, you will discover your spa getting a bit cooler also. It hasn't been a huge problem for us, even when it's been very chilly, we get in when it's 104, and by the time the temp has gotten down to 100, we're usually ready to get out anyway.
Keeping it clean? It comes with an inflatable cover that snaps onto the spa, and keeps 99.9% of stuff such as leaves, etc. out of the spa. We took off the cover yesterday, and a June bug had worked its way in, and promptly drowned (stupid June bug....), but, that's been the only critter situation we've experienced since we installed it. We have been using bromine tabs in a floating dispenser, clarifying chemicals especially for spas to keep the water clean and clear, and a small net to scoop out the occasional pieces of grass. We haven't had a problem with keeping it clean and perfect for a soak.
How long did it take to set up? Including filling it, maybe 30 minutes - 45 at the most. The instructions were easy to interpret and there are videos and such on the web if you need them. My main recommendation on set-up is to be really sure you've placed it where you want it before you put water in it. When bodies get in it, water often sloshes over the side - be sure that's not going to be a problem for you. Also, we put the pump/motor on the side closest to the outlet, but, when we empty it and clean it, we're going to relocate the pump/motor to another outlet on the other side of the unit. For us, we are forced to step over the hoses to go into the sliding glass door of the bedroom. Also, be sure that you're unit is positioned bully on the mat that comes with it, ours is off just a smidge. None of this is a big deal for us, just things to consider when you're setting up your unit.
How long does it take for the water to heat-up? A while. I saw a post from someone else who said he rigged up his water hose to the hot water faucet in his house - that's ingenious, and will most definitely cut down on the waiting time. I wasn't that ambitious and just filled it from the outdoor faucet. It took overnight to come up to temperature. Know that most likely you won't enjoy your first soak until Day 2 - but, trust me, the wait will be worth it!! :-)
What is the cost of the power to run the spa? This is our first full month of using the unit. Most of the time we've left both the filtering pump and heating features on 24/7. There is a way to "program" the heater to come on when you want it (in hours), I tried this twice. the first time it worked great, the 2nd time I mistakenly reversed the setting and was totally bummed when the spa wasn't heated in the evening. Then we tried turning it off at night, and just turning it back on in the morning. Yeah, as you can imagine, most of the time I remembered to turn on the spa when I was pulling into the parking lot at work. Once again, total disappointment when you know you won't get your relaxing soak. So, we've just let it pretty much run for the past 3 weeks or so, and we did see a bump in our utility bill of about $100. I can't say that the spa is the only reason for the increase - it's been warmer in my parts, and we've been running the A/C cooler and more often. Just know that it does use electricity, and the cost will be commensurate with that use.
One day we hope to have a bigger, more traditional spa, but in the meantime, this little gem has been a complete winner!!
But first I should probably mention that earlier this year, I was thinking of having a proper redwood spa tub and deck built in my backyard. I had budgeted 5 figures and the builder came in about $3000 above my guess. But he didn't like the idea of running a T off my barbecue grill's natural gas outlet; he wanted me to run a whole 3/4" run and an electrical sub-box. That was going to be another $3000 - $6000 or more if I wanted the runs buried - and that gave me a little pause, because now we're talking a serious home improvement. So I looked into it and with permits, up to code (can't sell your house if it's not) and an architect, we were looking at $35000. I gave up and resigned myself.
Then I found this awesome tub. And it really is awesome. It's a good 5 feet wide, it seats 2 comfortably or 4 if you want to play footsie, it heats up to 104 degrees F, and all it requires is a 120V electrical outlet. It gets me 99% of the way to what I wanted - warm nights under stars - and for only 1% of the cost.
Setup was sort of fraught. Unpack by hand; don't use a box cutter, use blunt-nosed scissors only where you can't use your hands. Find the grey underliner - it looks like bubblewrap - and lay it bubbles side down where you want the tub. This is the most important step, and you'll need a fairly windless day to do it.
Unpack the green tub until it's the shape of a soft taco and position it on your liner. Rotate it until the grey pipes are pointing where you want your heater to sit. You only get one chance at this - once you've put water in, you're committed - so get it perfectly positioned now.
Now use the air pump, air hose and PSI gauge to inflate the tub. Inflate it to 1.2 PSI. Center it on the liner. Don't bother trying to run a hose from your hot water tap, as another reviewer recommended, unless you've got a tankless water heater; you'll be putting 250-280 gallons in, and I'm sure your home's water heater doesn't hold that much. You can fill this in 10 minutes with a short hose from a nearby outdoor faucet. If you're planning on solo or 2 person use, fill it to the "MAX" line; if you will often have 4 adults in, fill it to the MIN line. The distance between MIN and MAX is about how much the water level will rise when 2 people are submerged in the tub, so don't overfill, because it'll take longer to heat and water will slosh over the side.
It takes 20-28 hours depending on the outdoor temperature to heat to 104 degrees. If you set it on F, you get a little more granularity over the temperature control; on a really hot day under the sun I prefer 102 degrees, but at night under the stars I like the full 104. The circulating pump is quiet, I can't hear it 5 feet away through a dual pane window, my neighbors can't hear it at all. The bubbles are nice - they're splashy, noisy, and hide a potbelly, cellulite, or whatever else you want to hide - but they're not therapy jets. They're louder than the air pump when you're in the pool, but if you're not in the pool the air pump is pretty loud and your neighbors will hear it.
The tub I was sent didn't hold an inflation; out of the box it had a leak in it somewhere and I wasn't able to find where. I was so disappointed - I figured warranty service would be horrible. But I logged into the warranty website and 72 hours later a new tub (they call it a 'pool liner') was at my door. That made me very happy. The new tub is firm as can be. Looking at the warranty, I don't really expect this spa to last more than a year, although reading other reviews I see some folks have gotten 3 years out of it. I wouldn't count on that. At this rate, I can buy 100 years worth of spas before I get to spending what my original plan would have cost me! And that's value.
If you're like me, you'll want Elegant Unbreakable Wine Glasses , Bright and Clear water treatment , Bromine tablets and replacement spa filters . Budget another $100 or so.
And then, get ready for lazy evenings, relaxed muscles, stress-free nights as the worries melt away in your new spa! It is just the most wonderful thing ever - I am writing this review from in the spa and I am looking up at the stars! But if you live in California, don't wait - WalMart won't ship this spa to us, I don't know why, so better buy one quick before Amazon catches on!
EDIT 8/19/17: So I've been using this tub for about 10 weeks. I still love it, but I don't think I was prepared for the amount of maintenance a daily-used hot tub takes. I generally go in clean and naked and I was surprised - OK, I'm a dummy - to find that the bromine/chlorine isn't optional; whatever I was putting in the water, something slimy liked to eat it, and grew on the walls and floor of the tub that became about as slippery as wet ice. I bromine-shocked that away, and it all wound up as a greyish-tan scum, on the surface of the water and clogging the filters (which, incidentally, reduces the effectiveness of the heater somewhat as flow through the heat pump is slowed.) A little bright-and-clear and a shop vac solved the scum on top but the water wasn't ever clear again, and I think the manufacturer's rec for every-8-week water changes is spot on; at the 10 week mark the water was pretty soupy.
Just changed the water and the filters, scrubbed every surface down, vacuumed up the sun-dried interior with the wet/dry vac, and the tub is back to pristine. This time I put in a capful of B'n'C and 2 bromine tablets to start with!
Top reviews from other countries
Hot tub is great quality. Really enjoying it. I bought it for my back issues. It helps a lot. Sitting right back against the bubbles helps relieve my back pains. 40 degrees is the perfect temperature, just right to get in, and just right to sooth and relax muscles.
The hot tub wall is strong enough that I can sit on it to cool off and get back in.
Filters are easy to clean. While in the tub I just screw them off by hand and wash them off with a hose. For adding bromine rather than the floating container, it is connected to the heated water stream of the hot tub allowing better delivery.
Seller cares about his customers' satisfaction and responds quickly and helps promptly with any queries.
