Holy Mary mother if God was this a bloody brilliant book. I cant believe it ended the way it did i have to start liberate right now i have to know what happens next.!. Daaaaaaam the secrets and lies the deception man its like days of our lives but with sexy alpha assassin's. Just when i thought i had everything figured out boom ! Nope i knew nothing. K.E Osborn is one of my favorite go to author's ive loved each and every book ive read so far and now ive discovered Addison Jane and i feel like my mind is going to be blown all over again. Brace ya selves ladies and open your minds because your in for a bloody bumpy ride with this series. Absolutely knocked it out of the ball park. Kace and lily one darkness one light bring them together and watch the fireworks light up the sky and the bad guys take hit after hit.. cannot recommend this book highly enough. Now im going in to liberate god daaaaaaam i better brace my self for this one .

Wow...i wasn't expecting that!
I can't really say too much about this book without giving away spoilers, as it has quite a few twists and turns. Let me just say that it was anything but predictable!
From the moment Lily laid eyes on the mysterious man next door with eyes as blue as the sky and a body made for sin, she was drawn to him. Wanting to find out more but it was obvious he wanted to remain unknown.
When she spots him at the zoo arguing with a man, she waits somewhat hidden in the background hoping to hear a little of their conversation to get a better idea of who and what this man is? Lily is also hoping she will finally get her chance to speak with him, hoping she can learn what makes him tick and if her attraction to him can go further.
Kase spotted Lily eavesdropping straightaway, it's what he is trained to do, but instincts aside, she's beautiful, sexy and he wants her. But getting close to her or anyone is dangerous, it's more than dangerous it could get her killed. It's why he doesn't stay in the same place for long, you can’t get attached or fall in love.
Lily doesn't realize that getting involved with her mysterious neighbour could be dangerous, but when a passionate kiss makes them both want more...is the chance at love worth the risk?
Kase will do whatever it takes to keep Lily safe and Lily will do whatever it takes to keep Kase with her. When he only sees the darkness can she lead him into the light?
This book is full of shock surprises, ending with a major cliff-hanger. I need the next series NOW!
Kase and Lily are smoking hot and truly steamy.
Downside would be, it's slightly hard to follow in some places and I wish it progressed a little quicker, but a great 4 star read with a unique storyline overall.

Kace was a mysterious man, someone that kept to himself and out of everyone's sigh, but when his next door neighbor catches his eye things will change and it might be for the worse. Lily kept to herself by working hard focusing in one thing only to one day own her veterinarian clinic but things will change when her mysterious yet gorgeous neighbor walks into her life.

The level of suspense, mystery, action and loyalty you experienced while reading this first book from what I expect to be the best series by far, will blow you away. Not only will you be biting your lip and/or your nails but will catch yourself holding your breath more than once.

Kace will be your next book boyfriend, and Lily will be your favorite gal. That I will guarantee you. Don't wait too long to read it you don't know what your missing.

I'm a huge Addison Jane fan. Huge! I haven't gotten to read K E Osborn yet. But, after reading this I will change that. This has been on my kindle in my TBR pile for awhile. I'm glad I read it now when book 2 is going to release soon. Bc, after that ending I'd of been mad to have awhile to wait. I'm not even sure how/what to write.

Kace is not your typical man. He's quiet, observant and has the moves of a stealthy ninja. His job makes him do things most people couldn't and wouldn't do or understand. Kace does it because he loves his country and he'd do anything to protect it and the people.

Kace never questioned his duties. He did what was given to him. Kace had no reason to. But, then he met his neighbor Lily. He found himself drawn to her. No matter how hard he tries to stay away from her he continues to bump into her. Lily intrigues Kace. Kace sees she's the light to his darkness. Kace is realizing not everything is black and white.

Lily works as a surgical vet nurse and plans on owning her own veterinary practice one day. It's the only reason she deals with her boss and his verbal abuse. She is at a loss of words when she runs into her neighbor. He looks dangerous and Lily could careless Bc he made her feel things she's never felt before.

One night when Lily was watching Kace's dog Daisy someone broke into her apartment. Kace found out that everything he thought he knew was not so true. Kace does something for the first time. He disobeys orders. Kace and Lily are now on the run. The run of their lives to save their lives. The people chasing them are the ones closest to Kace. Kace was able to see the truth. He was able to see past what was made to be truth. Lily hasn't known Kace long enough to trust him. But, she can feel him and look into his eyes and see his soul. She'll stay next to Kace until her last breath. But, Kace vows that'll never happen.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first page. I was so invested in this story that I forgot what sleep was. I was rooting for Kace and Lily from the beginning until the last page. There was so much I hated about this book too. I hated that Kace and his team are more then a team. They're a family. Which was why is was both mad and upset with their actions and their lack of support for Kace.

Even though Lily and Kace are complete opposites, they're perfect together and fit together like two puzzle pieces. Lily was great at settling Kace's emotions in check and not letting him get himself down. I can tell you this. I already have book two on my TBR list. I knew I had to read this before that. But, I was so not prepared for that massive ending! I didn't realize they weren't standalone. Not that it changes it Bc I loved it anyway. This is a must read. Addison and K E are an incredible team. I hope they keep writing together!

Oh my goodness does this mean Kace and Lily are dead or will there be a twist to this story that will come to light in the next book, I cannot wait and I'm sure everyone who has read Deciet feels exactly the same I just hope we are not kept waiting to long for Liberate to be released.
As soon as this story started and we are introduced to Lily you like her straight away, her character and personality and just her general outlook on life is quite addictive so much so it captured Kace's attention almost immediately.
There are so many unanswered questions... where does Max fit into all of this, I honestly thought he was going to be someone important or have a connection to Kace or Lily or was it just to throw us off but that was just one thing amongst many to keep us completely captivated to this story.
I love K.E. Osborn and have read everything apart from the (Satan's Savages MC) series and I'm waiting for PICK to come out but I'm not familiar with Addison Jane however these two authors work extremely well together there's no doubt about that... it's giving us what is going to be a fabulous series.
Whist reading Deceit I couldn't help thinking about R.J. Lewis, Skye Turner and Shantelle Tessier, they have all done stories and or series that you will love if you loved Deceit.
I still can't believe how this story ended... it's torture especially as we have no clue when Liberate will be out it did say Coming Soon so let's hope so.!

I really enjoyed this book until the end. I don't know if they were really killed of if it was just a cliffhanger. I will be so damn pissed if the killed Kace and Lily. That last scene is what made me give it a four star instead of a five star. I'm hoping they didn't really hurt them. I'm rambling because I'm just so annoyed right now... Sorry!!!!

There are a few grammatical issues but they are minimal and primarily comprised of incorrect word choice, missed words and an extra inserted word. I am mentioning these for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow.

The world building in the start of this series is strong. The characters are very different and I especially love Molly … the things she says is hilarious. The chemistry between Lily and Kace is strong, but there are times that he comes across very stiff and awkward, so I can see why there were some reviews that questioned their relationship. I think it showed the type of life he has lived and the chameleon like tendencies he has had to used to “defend” the country.
