Customers like the storage space in the backpack. They mention that it has a lot of pockets, compartments, and loops to hold extra carabiners, knives, rope, stakes, etc. The main compartment easily holds workout gear and a pair of sneakers. The bag doubles its carrying capacity in molle and straps, with multiple internal organization in each pocket. The compartments are laid out well, and there are 5 compartments including the bladder. Customers are mixed about the size of the backpack. Some mention that they can fit all of their daily items easily into this well-made pack, providing a fair amount of room for the basic essentials. Customers are mixed about the straps of the backpack. Some mention that the compression straps are great for holding everything in place, and the strap is adjustable at the top and bottom. For our family camping trip, this was an excellent little day pack, very comfy for a moderate hike (5 miles, moderate terrain) with a couple young kids. Carried a full water bladder, lunch for 4, snacks, and all the miscellany I carry because I am a former Army guy and can't go out with (ie compass, knife, 550 cord, first aid supplies [A tactical tourniquet? Really man? yeah....], emergency poncho, etc). The first aid stuff fit so nicely in the larger outer pocket it now lives there full time.
There are a few quibbles, but they are pretty minor:
1. The shoulder straps have a lot of room for adjustment, but for me, with no body armor etc, the lower portion of the webbing could be 6-8" longer, and the top proportionally shorter. I had no issues adjusting it to be comfy, but there is a lot of strap flopping about.
2. The waist belt is pretty short, but I am also a pretty stout guy. Ok, I'm full on chubby, but its still pretty small, and on a pack this size, it is really needed?
3. Sternum strap- I probably could have used this on the hike, but normal use I don't miss it.
Again, this is a SMALL pack. It's not good for a 72 hour bag, IMO, unless you are packing very light, nor would it be my first choice for a bug out bag with a full basic load, extra mags, frags, etc. 15-20 pounds probably max out its usefulness. There aren;t any good external straps for snivel gear or such, but the webbing looks sturdy for more pouches and such. It expands from fron to back, versus side to side, so the more stuff you stuff in it, the higher your prone profile would be. I can't either recommend it as a basic book bag, the main compartment is too narrow for anything but a small lap top, and the tall, narrow design would be hard to retrieve stuff out of, while making larger textbooks a tight squeeze. but for my general purpose use as a gym/commuter bag with occasional weekend hikes, it a great bag, and a great value.
Size: 10/10
This is not an excessively large bag probably a little bit smaller than an average bookbag.
Compartments: 9/10
It has two main pockets which hold the bulk of my equipment & front two pockets fully attached (not molle) for smaller easy to reach equipment.
Primary Compartment: Large, Ideal for bulky items, Zips all the way down (Contains: Hammock, Bugnet, Tarp, Straps)
Secondary Compartment: Medium, Ideal for slimmer items, Zips 2/3 way down (Ropes, Stakes, Cord, Clothing)
Primary Outside Compartment: Medium, Ideal for slimmer Items, Zips 2/3 way down, Easily Accessible (Bug Spray, Sunscreen, Tide-to-Go Stick :D )
Secondary Outside Compartment: Small, Ideal for small items, Zips all the way down, Easily Accessible (Knives, Lighter)
Outside Loops: Multiple, Ideal for carabiners/molle (Carabiners)
Back Pouch: Medium, Very Slim pocket on exterior. Lays flat against back, Velcro, Easily Accessible (Rain Poncho, Socks, Small Blanket?)
Zippers: 8/10
Zippers are large and easy to grab. Comes with attached paracord strings, which I promptly removed and saved. They appear to be strong but not indestructible. I would not overfill the bag and attempt to force these closed under pressure.
Straps/Handles: 8/10
Primary Straps: Straps are comfortable and very adjustable (Top and Bottom). They have a standard clip (Side-Release Buckle) on the lower half of each strap. Straps can also be fully removed with little remaining hardware.
Fastener Clips: Two sets of clips (Side-Release Buckle) that connect the Primary straps across your Chest and Waist. They can be fully removed with little remaining hardware.
Tightener Straps:
Straps on the Top, Bottom and sides allow for the bag to be tightened. Very helpful for transportation and storage. Top tightener strap runs across the Secondary Outside Compartment.
Handle: Handle well built sew-in and lays flat when not in use.
Price: 10/10
I was able to purchase the Condor Compact Assault Pack (Black) for ~$25. It shipped from China in about 2 weeks.

Sumamente recomendable.
