The reviews on this were good so I ordered it a few days ago and it showed up this morning! Awesome!
My first reaction when opening it was "holy cow this thing is tiny", the reviews said it was small, but I didn't expect to be able to fit it in my coat pocket.
I immediately tested it out, and couldn't turn it up to full volume as it was so loud (and I have roommates I didn't want to disturb). It is also very clear. Best money I ever spent, I would highly recommend to all my friends and family!

Misleading. Shows up when looking for Bluetooth speakers. Ordered for wife and she pointed out it wasn't Bluetooth. Sound is low volume but ok given the size of speaker. That being said... Useless when so many other options available include Bluetooth and other functions that this doesn't. Keep looking, at this price you can do better.

My 7 years old daughter first amazon purchase with her own money. She was very happy with the colours choices and received it within a week! We tried it in a huge cabin with friends this weekend and the sound was good even in the main room that span 2 stories but only when we were playing more quiet games. The sound wasn't loud enough when 5 screaming 7yo kids were running around but it was adequate for a giggling dance party! In a smaller/normal room just chilling with the music it is loud enough. We love that a 2nd longer cable is provided too ; it help make sure both the speaker and mp3 player were stable. The little pouch with hook provided was a nice surprise ; she use it to store her tiny mp3 player and cables all together. All her friends now wants one! I suspect that if we plug them in one another with the 2nd cable provided in a chain, it might get louder, but I haven't tried it. Thanks.

I can't believe the sound that comes out of this little guy. I bought this for my girlfriend but I'm thinking about getting one for myself. The small size makes this easily portable and the overall sound quality is very good given the one 40mm speaker. I've bought much bigger PC speakers in the past that don't even compare to this speaker. The sound output really exemplifies the vocals due to the size of the speaker. However, I actually played a bass song on this and I thought it hit most of the low notes even though the specs say that it only goes down to 180Hz. I have a Prosub1000 definitive technology subwoofer in my home theater that can go down to 18 Hz which definitely hits all of the low notes so I really thought this thing went below 180Hz...Granted, at the super low levels, the output wasn't terribly loud for the super low bass notes. Typically though, I was able to feel the bass from this through my couch a couple feet away. The quality of the audio output overall shocked me and I find it to be above average. The loudness was good as well. At 17 bucks, this thing is a steal.

I love this little thing! The primary way I currently plan to use it is connecting to my portable CD player. That way I can listen to audio books without headphones. This allows me more flexibility in using the portable CD player at times when I'm doing something where I can't wear the headphones. Another advantage for me w/this speaker is that when listening w/o headphones, I can still restart the audio book at the spot where it was when the player was turned off. The portable boom boxes I have found that meet my other requirements inconveniently restart at the beginning of the disc when the boom box is turned off. It's great how it twists down to a small size for easy portability. The sound quality is good for my needs. On top of all that, pink was a color choice!

Update - stopped working after a few months i used it maybe 10 times. Disappointed!
