I usually buy freeze dried apple rings that I pulverize in the blender to mix into the filling of my "McD" apple pie recipe. The brand I usually buy from the supermarket was not available, so I bought these instead. These apple rings are sticky and became crumbles that bunch together rather than the dry powder I need. They were also extra work because there were peels on the rings that needed to be removed before putting them in the blender. For my purposes, this was a waste of money.
