    I would given 5 stars to this tablet YT3-850F, 8 inches Yoga Tablet, but this tablet is not upgradable as of today (June 9th, 2017) to Android 6.0, like the YT3-X50F, 10 inches Yoga tablet.I think this could be something that someone in Lenovo forgot to do or misplaced, because the YT3-X50F is upgradable and if you check in their support web page Lenovo has a table indicating that both tablets will be upgradable to Android 6.0. Therefore I don’t think the vendor in my case Amazon, is responsible. But should be aware of this minor inconvenience , even better perhaps, help us to contact Lenovo to fix this.With this being said I really like this Yoga Tablet, the feature that I most like is that it works with active pen or active stylus. What I don’t like is that the majority of Lenovo tablets that I have bought came with FM radio this doesn’t.Android 7.0 is already out, I wish Lenovo or Google would allow to upgrade these ones to the newest android. But most likely in android devices if you want the last OS you need to buy a newer device.I don’t think this is fair, especially, for poor people like me. I have responsibilities, what do you think that we can buy a new android device every 6 months? I Upgraded my old PC from 2009 with Windows 10; My Old Mac from 2010 with El Capitan. So why is it that I cannot upgrade my Old PDA with PalmOS to Android 7.0? Why, why, why?

    Lenovo built a wonderful little machine here. The spine of the tablet houses a pair of excellent Dolby speakers that broadcast rich, wonderful sound and a huge battery (relative to tablets) that serves to power Lenovos vision of using this as a multimedia device. The battery lasts greater than 6 hours under some moderately heavy use. The camera is fair enough as far as tablets go as well. It's built on a swivel that rotates 180 degrees for front facing and rear facing video or pictures. The back side of the tablet is made to feel like a soft leather and delivers a pleasant texture when holding it. Because of the large battery, the tablet is a bit weighty, but I like the heft. It feels durable and not like some other devices that feel like they're made of cheap plastic. The spine has a kick stand that flips out by a button press and allows the tablet to be oriented a few interesting ways, including hanging. As long as the stand is locked into one of the two positions the tablet is fairly stable.

    This little device is built for people who want a more convenient way to enjoy media and browse the web. It's not a gaming tablet and will struggle under heavy applications. But if you want something to take with you will me you ride the train, wait at the doctor's office, etc look no farther. The spine makes for a very comfortable and natural hand hold while viewing in portrait mode. The speakers are extremely good and very quite loud, meaning this a perfect media device for music or downloaded Netflix shows or YouTube clips. Apps like Kindle or libby make reading a real pleasure.

    I love it and you probably will too. I can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a more convenient way to consume digital media

    I think for the price this is a great tablet. Bought it to take pictures of computer screens and make steps for computer stuff (using squid which works just fine) but have found it useful for doing spreadsheet type stuff for inventory purposes (scrolling and moving around the screen with a bunch of text in cells works fine). Bought a Bluetooth bar code scanner and it works great with it along with all the Bluetooth folding keyboards I have (at the same time mind you). No problem watching videos on youtube and netflix and the sound is quite loud. Wouldn't recommend it for high end gaming but for the price I am not sure why anyone would think this tablet would be able to play those anyway. The screen may be smaller than most tablets but bigger than most phones and I like the portable nature of it. The auto on and off feature is nice for having it turn off before getting to work and then shutting off after you get home without having to do anything yourself. It auto turned on today and I was at work for 6 hours and never used it but it only lost 1% battery in that period of time. Would recommend this tablet if you do not mind a smaller screen and want to do basic stuff.

    NOTE THE FOLLOWING: There are several versions of the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 tablet, and the reviews, and is some cases the actual product descriptions, are getting mixed together on Amazon to the point that you cannot verify which tablet the information is actually for. THIS review is for the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3, model number YT3-850F (around $170). This one has 2GB of RAM, a 1280 x 800 IPS display, 16GB of internal storage, running a CPU APQ8009 QC 1.3GHZ 32-bit processor.

    This product truly exceeded my expectations. The display was more vibrant than I expected given the low to mid-range specification. The performance in launching and running applications SIGNIFICANTLY exceeded my expectations as well, although I am not too knowledgeable on CPU specs. Out of the box, the unit had 11 GB of the 16GB storage available, with virtually no bloatware. The setup was straightforward, with one possible exception:

    If you are using and SD card, you will be prompted to format the SD card when you first power up the tablet, so if you have any data on the card, back it up first as everything will be erased. This was my first Android device that gave two formatting options:
    1. Format as internal storage
    2. Format as portable storage
    Not knowing any better, I chose to format as internal storage since I normally do not purchase devices with only 16GB on board. After all was said and done, going into settings showed the normal internal storage and a separate SD card storage. I did not realize, however, that this would prevent me from copy files to it when connected to a PC (the SD card does not show up at all on a PC). For this reason, I re-formatted the SD card on a PC, then formatted again in the tablet as portable storage. I then was able to drag/drop files to the SD card from my PC.
    I did have on other hiccup, but it was not the tablet. My pictures and videos kept disappearing from the Gallery app, even though they could be launched from ES File Explorer. I tried some other similar apps from the Google Play store with the same results. I then tried installing a brand new SD card in the tablet, formatting it only in the tablet, and no issues since (the first SD card apparently had a problem).

    PROS:
    Better than expected display quality
    Much faster than expected
    The stand configuration is great

    CONS:
    Tablets should start with a minimum of 32GB onboard storage, but I knew what I was buying at the time.

    I LOVE THIS TABLET

    I read a lot, i surf the web a lot and I also like to play games and apps on my android devices and I honestly don't like to spend a fortune on gadgets. Up until last week I was using a low-end tablet that I enjoyed for almost a year despite the bad battery life, I grew used to it after a while. Then Lenovo came along....

    Man, I can tell you I fell in love with this tablet the minute I opened it, the design itself seem a little odd but I got used to it rather quick, the battery is second to none, I can use it all day without the battery dying on me. Performance is another reason I cant give this tablet enough credit. All and all, this is the best tablet I have ever owned and I am already considering ordering the bigger version. Audio is awesome, too!

    If you enjoy watching movies on a tablet, playing games, listening to music or simple browsing the web without being constantly worried about the battery going dead on you, Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 is the way to go. You will no be disappointed.
