    I got this for my 9 year old daughter who is obsessed with Minecraft. On the floor of the toy the lava switches to obsidian with the sliding of a rock. It appears to be pretty sturdy as she has changed it multiple times. There is a crafting table which has diamonds and a pick axe as well as a working elevator, a few secret spots to hide diamonds and a hidden zombie. There are three floors and different combinations to set up the toy. There are small torches that are removable and would be easy to lose or put in the mouth of small children. Also even though the box is clearly marked beware there are no "people" included with this toy. The only Minecraft figures she had already were the mini-figures, they were way too small. Once we got her some of the bigger figures (5" ones like Minecraft Steve with Pickaxe 5" Figure ) to play with it she played with it for hours at a time. The blocks are light weight and sturdy. It’s easy to put together but is a larger toy than I anticipated and takes up a bit of space once put together. Well worth the money, and something I would buy for any Minecraft lover.

    Best purchase ever. I finally was able to take away the tablet and still play minecraft with my 5 year old. He has fun playing with different characters (not included), instead of Thomas the train table, we have a "craft table" that my son truly adores. Very happy with purchase. I also had to buy the other set, that includes sheep and creeper, just to be able to build several things in our craft table. My son LOVES his new toy.

    My 4-year old son is a serious Minecraft enthusiast! He loves the game,so we wanted to get him some hands on toys as well. He loves the little hidden diamonds and how you can change get up the construction anytime you want. I see alot of comments about how it won't stay together. It's best to put it on a hard surface like a table or uncarpeted floor. Keeping the sheet that it comes with to show the different setups you can try helps also because it shows exactly which pieces click together to lock it into place.

    My 7 year old is obsessed with Minecraft right now, so this playset was at the top of his Christmas list. He was very happy to receive it and has spent a good amount of time playing with the different configurations and "traps" it features. The two biggest problems I have with this set are that (#1) it's EXPENSIVE! For $80 (at time of purchase) I expected much more, and it's truly just a bunch of plastic that your child will get to use his/her imagination with. And, secondly, the set doesn't come with any characters. When my son started playing with it, then realized it didn't come with any characters, he nearly broke down in tears. So, you're forced to buy additional parts and characters to go along with this set. The characters are also very expensive. So, by the time you have the set and a couple characters, you're already over $100! I'm happy that my son enjoys the playset, but in my mind it's not worth it. Hopefully it will get it's money's worth of use
