FillFilling is easy using a funnel, kitchen baster or by simply pinching the top and pouring in the filling. If your filling is particularly thick, we recommend a batter pen to do the job. Recommended fill line included on pouch. |
FreezeUse any freezer-safe container or mug. Freeze large batches without using valuable freezer space. Safe for home and commercial freezers. |
FunPerfect for families, class parties, teams, after school snacks and while on-the-go. To keep hands warm, check out our Zipzicle Neoprene Holders. |
Zipzicle stands behind their products.
Family owned and operated
In 2009, we discovered that our son could not eat items that contained strong food dyes. Talking with other parents we soon found out we were not alone. Many children and adults have special dietary considerations, including those that are life threatening. Purchasing commercially available ice pops was not an option and overwhelmingly parents want healthy choices and the ability to make “real” food. Zipzicle is the original zip-top ice-pop and the brand you can trust.

I would like to share a tasty filling idea for those who are interested. I tried mixing coconut water plus lime or orange juice, a tiny amount of stevia and about 1/2 of a small container of Dannon Activia vanilla yogurt - just enough to turn the liquid cloudy. (I was using up leftovers). It made a very tasty pop - the orange was reminiscent of the dreamscicles we used to eat as a kid and the vanilla flavor was just enough. The lime was also great. Both are tremendously refreshing when you come in from the heat. And if I am not mistaken I think coconut water is a healthful way to replenish electrolytes.
As an update, I have used these for quite a while now and the plastic edges cut the inside of my mouth on each side. I run it under water for just a few seconds then I squeeze it out into a bowl and eat it that way. It took weeks for these cuts inside on the corner of my mouth to fully heal.
These guys are an absolute MUST in our home! My child has some sensitivities to food (such as artificial coloring, corn products, etc) and these Zipzicles make it so much easier for me to just whip up a batch or two of homemade "Go-Gurts" or even popsicles where I know what actually goes in them!
They can be a little difficult to fill up, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy! I currently use a funnel to fill them up just below the fill line (esp if you're freezing them, don't fill up to the fill line as everything expands) also it makes for no spillage when you attempt to close the Zipzicle. I also stand it up in a cup and balance/hold it open with one hand while filling it up with the other hand.
Another tip I would recommend, take a pair of scissors and "round out" the edges of the Zipzicle that will be put into your mouth (above the sealing point) They can be a little sharp or "pokey" as my child explains it. It will also make it easier to grasp and open as well.
