I got a box of 12 and a box of 24 to paint with my nephew and niece (6 and 9 years old). Didn’t realize how thick the paints were and we used way too much from the set of 12 for our first time painting together. They can easily be thinned and spread with a bit of water or medium (water dries acrylic paints much faster/weakens them, so more serious artists might want to use a matte or gloss medium depending on the type of finish wanted).We practiced some color blending from a YouTube tutorial on normal acrylic painting paper and then made a collage on some thick card with tissue paper, glitter and glue! All very fun and the paint washed off their hands fine. Thankfully these paints don’t have the same “paint” odor that we smelt with a cheaper set from another seller.Very happy with these and will buy another set of the 24 as my niece loved the violet and Scarlet :D

These paints are awesome! I ran out and had to get some paint locally over the weekend- and I can't believe the difference. The Art Companion paints from Tam & Family are sooooooooooo much better. The colors are amazing- the consistency is just right. The customer service is also beyond amazing. Tam and I actually emailed back and forth a couple times about what I was painting etc... Very good product- very cool people that make it. I just ordered more, and I will continue to do so.
