Personal Daily Carry
I've carried a Hoffman Richter Tactical for quite sometime now and their lite weight and non threatening appearance make daily carry very possible in most environments with a little creative thought after all it's a great pen first and then if needed something else all together. My simple advise is to keep it legal, lite and simple as possible on your daily sojourn via situational awareness and an active will to prevail.I've also bought the Tungsten Steel Tactical Pen by Meihuida on Amazon $5.59 which is a bit lighter and smaller but it'slack of a cap mounting to pen when writing is a big down side, still a good second choice for multi locations. Or giving them to others you may care about, but sadly may very well leave them in a drawer somewhere when really needed. In this life some lessons are cheap while others are not and you have done your part [your hands are clean friend] Ezekiel 33:4Some years ago I was caught in a parking lot situation at four am while stopping for coffee and having a mindful of thenumerous up coming conference calls etc. When a vehicle rolled out of the darkness and blocked my path with the gentlemen driving now confronting me with a 30 shot tech 9 firearm in hand. The gentlemen a member of a local criminal organization that some of us were trying to bring before the bar of justice at the time and this was just one of many illegal acts on a very long road of intimidation meant to halt the very slow legal process [almost three years] that was now starting to affect their business model.Long story short the only weapon I had on my person were my car keys which were in hand as now time slowed or stopped while looking at this gentlemen's eyes while I stepped toward him at an angle cutting the distance between us from ten feet thus bringing his left eye within my arm's reach.By using the old hard of hearing ploy (what did you say or me no speak pig Latin etc.??) and in his confusion he failed to point the weapon's barrel to track my ever changing or current position as he labored under the misconception that he had the upper hand in this matter [failing to understand that there is no creation more dangerous, than a man with nothing to lose].I pen this as a heads up message for those who may heed my simple words and thus in some small way prepare to protect themselves or their loved ones at some point from an increasingly imported mindless evil that now shares our landscape.Note; There are only two people types that will pull a firearm on their victims and may you only encounter number two friend.1. those that begin shooting2. those that begin talking
