First of all the kit is very beautiful and fits perfectly with my MSI Z170A XPower Titanium motherboard. The Sliver/Black fits with the silver/white of this board. The performance of this memory has been fantastic so far and it's running at advertise speed, but required me to turn on XMP on my motherboard bios. This is the first time I bought G Skill as I've always been a Corsair consumer but the quality of this kit may have converted me.

One minor observation I made is that the sticks felt “heavier” to me then the Corsair Vengeance DDR3 sticks I used last. I think the heatsinks on these are of slightly higher quality.

I'm using this memory on a self-built ASUS Prime Z270-AR motherboard overclocked at 20%, memory running at a little over 3GHz, and Windows 10 OS with excellent results! The speed of doing anything and everything with this memory is almost instantaneous. After about 6 months of use so far, no problems with the memory whatsoever, I love it! And, I still have two slots left to expand with another 16GB later if I want.

I had two issues:
1. On my first order, 1 stick was DOA. In the replacement, both sticks worked fine. Not a huge deal, this happens sometimes, so I'm not really removing a star for it. I also haven't done the RMA yet, so I can't speak on how hassle-free that is.
2. These sticks are kinda thick. I'm not totally sure if it's the RAM or the motherboard, but fitting in 4 sticks side-by-side in an ASRock Z170 OC Formula doesn't seem possible. When I upgrade to 4 sticks, I'm going to search for a thinner model.

Overall, once you get it working, they do seem to work well and are pretty good. I don't really regret the purchase. I would just be weary of space if you need four sticks.

Thank god! I didn't use this ram and it broke before I received it. upon opening the box I pulled out more than I expected. the ram had fallen apart and I seen how it was manufactured. Might as well used bubble gum and duct tape. it would have at least made it to my house in one piece that way.

Anteriormente tenía unos G.Skill Ripjaws que a 3200 me daban problemas de estabilidad -aún estando en la lista de memorias compatibles de la placa base-. Decidí cambiarlos por estos TridentZ, y muy contento con el cambio. Nada más cogerlos se nota la diferencia de calidad -los Ripjaws eran todo plástico, estos son metálicos-
Por si el esquema de colores te confunde, uno de los lados es gris y el otro negro.
Al activar el perfil XMP/DOCP funcionan a 3200. Si te da algún problema de inestabilidad, te recomiendo subir el voltaje de 1.35 a 1.37.
Por último, un aviso a navegantes: En 2019, ante las condenas de monopolio de los fabricantes de RAM, el precio se presume que bajará. Quizá no a niveles de 2016, pero más que ahora sin duda. Si no te urge, te recomiendo posponer tus compras para entonces.
