About The Maca Team
For almost 20 years, all we've done is Maca and because of that, we are able to source and sell the best selection of fresh, high quality Maca products anywhere. We feel blessed to work with a simple food that has helped people for 1000s of years. And we are grateful for the all the hands that bring it to us.
We work exclusively with a co-op of farmers in the high Andes of Peru. Our farmers continue to follow traditional and sustainable agricultural practices as they have for generations. And it makes all the difference.
Our products are always organically grown, fairly traded, non-gmo, gluten free and potent.

This Product is worth it.
This product is well worth the $30 it costs. To people who are skeptical about buying this product at first, this is the real deal and probably the best powder maca on amazon right now. It may taste bad but eventually you get used to it. Same goes for the actually health benefits, it takes a couple of days but it really kicks in when it does. I personally felt more energetic, more motivated to do things, a boost in libido, more strength, and other slight benefits such as elevated awareness when I felt the effects start to kick in. I use a scale to measure the maca and from there add the recommended serving (9g) to hot water which I down in the morning right after I get up from bed which helps me during the rest of the day. (I recommend anyone else who buy this, also to try to add this to their daily regimen) The 1lb Bag lasts me a little over a month so just be aware of that. If the company who manufactures this product sees this, I would recommend updating the packaging and updating the labels. Otherwise, I highly recommend this and hope more people see how wonderful this product really is.

I add 1 tsp (5 mg) to my daily coffee and it gives me a great boost throughout my day. Generally during the mid-afternoon I hit the "two o'clock wall" and begin to feel lethargic.
Now that I'm taking Black Maca Root Powder intermediately (3 days & 1 day skip). I feel strong all day and have enough energy to play with the kids once I get home from work. I've found that some of the powder does remain at the bottom of the cup but I simply stir when I get to half a cup and it all dissolves.
Another bonus is I'm rock asf. Didn't need any help but I'll take it.
