Directions

Step 1. Sweep The Great Little Grabber from the root to tip of lashes. Step 2. Repeat Step 1. until desired lash look is achieved. Step 3. Do not let mascara dry in between coats. Step 4. Easily remove mascara with Maybelline Expert Eyes 100% Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.

I love mascara and love to try new kinds. I've had several tubes of the "traditional" Great Lash mascara, but I wanted to try this one because I saw it has a new brush.

As you can see in the picture, the brush tapers off. I know the idea is that you can use the small end to get the tiny lashes in the corners of your eyes.

PROS: The mascara is very dark and thickens each lash, and maybe lengthens them a bit. I can get by with just one coat in the morning if I'm in a rush.

CONS: I think the brush ends up being a huge problem. The brush has so many clumps of mascara on it when you pull it out of the tube. I figure that because the entrance of the tube is wide enough for the thickest part of the brush, it's took big for the rest of the brush, so it doesn't "rake" the excess mascara off the middle and end. As a result, I have to do extra work to prevent my eyelashes from clumping together.

Overall, I would not buy this product again, because of the problems with the brush / clumping.

I have always and only used Maybelline Mascara for 20+ years as I have found it to be the best. Well, they have now created this amazing brush for it and I am so happy. The way the brush is contoured, the smaller bristles easily coat my smallest lashes quickly and easily where previously I was always getting mascara on or around my nose or inner eye as I could never reach them. And one application coats my lashes entirely so I don't have to keep reapplying more product to get the thickness and length that I want. Finally I don't need to use an eyelash curler as my lashes become so extended and shapely with this product that I am just amazed. I have just purchased two more of them to keep on hand. For me it is such a great improvement on an already amazing mascara.

Maybelline's mascara receives rave reviews from makeup artists and many consumers. Simultaneously, I know many consumers state the product's wand applicator and the tube's overly wet, black substance cause eyelashes to clump and run. Fortunately, I do not have these problems. I like the mascara wand's ability to separate and lengthen my eyelashes. In addition, I find the mascara, itself, makes my eyelashes thicker and darker. I do not have any clumping. To avoid the mascara from running and causing the "raccoon" look, I first use an under-the-eye makeup primer. After the primer dries, then I apply my mascara. Personally, I think you are getting a great product for your money.

I loved how this looked on my auntie who had bought it from america so I bought this myself, application is great and I have never used a better brush, great for small eyes! And getting into corners and every lash. I did have to give only 3 stars however as I found the formula very dry and flaky, my mum gets on ok with it but I can not get on with the formula. If they changed the dryness it would be my favourite mascara!
