Defiance (Smirnov Bratva Book 3) Kindle Edition
I was promised to her.
She was the daughter of a drug lord, I was the cousin of one.
Together we could have been beautiful.
Oh, so beautiful.
But beautiful doesn’t factor into my life.
Death.
Destruction.
Pain.
That was my life.
She’d had her taste of it.
But was she really ready for it?
Because I lived in hell, and my wife would soon be Satan’s bitch.
She wouldn’t be prepared.
She could never be.

Again….TL has done it again.
I have so much love for her and her writing hand.
I have read everything TL, and again she has given us another perfectly executed read that I couldn’t put down.
In this instalment of the Smirnov Bratva Series, we get to meet at length Viktor and Freya. Although we know them both from the first two novels which touched on their characters briefly, Defiance is their voice , their story….And let me tell you, it’s explosive.
Forced together by marriage, Freya and Viktor are left to deal with being united when it’s the last thing they want to be.
Ordered to be married by Kazier, they don’t have a choice.
Freya…What a firecracker. She has sass, class and a mouth to match.
Viktor. Strong, fearless, family always comes first.
These two together….It’s bloody, raw, dangerous and downright humorous.
A marriage that is likely to be destroyed by their own hands.
A union that is likely to be ruined…..And why?
Because they love and hate each other……And that’s the problem.
There is always such a fine line between both of these emotions.
Which way will they fall?
Guys read this. I can’t tell you how much you need this in your life.
Gruesome, deadly, stomach churning, hilarious, seductive, heartbreaking, deliciously naughty, breathtaking, it has it all.
You also get to be re-united with Kazier, Anton, Elina, Death, Poppy, Angelina and a new edition to the family.
A must read.
5 stars
This third book in the series is every bit as good as the first two, a feat in and of itself for any author to achieve.
Freya and Viktor know they have to marry, however, that doesn't mean they like the situation! What happens almost immediately after is a roller coaster of events that keeps you, the reader, on the edge of your seat.
I really enjoy the expressions this author uses for example..Freya's observation at the wedding reception..."This wedding has more security than a politician’s day out."
Freya appeared as a quieter person in previous books but I love her strength of character and sassiness in this book. All of the characters reveal more about themselves and it is like slowly opening up a present!
Another winner!
Promised to one, married to another, Freya must feel like she is being pulled in so many different directions, but to add insult to injury, another faith lays ahead for her resulting in the worst betrayal.
Another great read, I'm loving this series. I love the danger and quirkiness of the characters and I'm again looking forward to the next book in this series.
I devoured this story within less than a day.
Highly recommend this series.
I cant wait to start the 4th book now.

They like each other but they don't want to marry each other. The very day of her wedding, she walks out when Pollie goes into labor and has her baby boy. Yay!
Their wedding night is horrible. Shortly afterwards she's forced to marry someone else, she runs away, is trafficked and rescued by her brother's friend. She gets her revenge by killing Kaziers father and step mom.
It takes forever for Freya to forgive Victor and it takes him forever to prove that she's important to her. Poor sweet babies. I'm glad they make it back to each other and with a baby on the way.

These men r brutal like seriously, I really felt for Fraya from the 1st book she stood by these people even after being pushed to the side an after marrying Viktor she is forced to be sold an guess who delivers her to the seller yip her so called friends an husband. I was hoping she would slice Krazier n his wife throats I honestly can't stand those 2. Death n Pollie r Kool an Viktor does eventually redeem himself but still I of all the woman in this series Fraya rocks. But dammmm this series is brutal but gooooooooood.
