It works....
So as other reviews state, some pieces were warped so wouldn't fit together. My husband started yelling when he couldn't fit them together. I took a tin snips off the wall and stuck them in the pieces that weren't wide enough for the other pieces to fit, and twisted around until the metal gave way making the hollow square big enough eventually to fit the piece that went in. My husband calmed down and hammered all pieces snuggly together. When completely assembled, we put our turtle's old leaky empty tank on bottom and his new tank on top with him in it.This stand is great, just as sturdy as a wooden 55 gallon tank on the other side of the room. We added boards on top of the stand to make sure the top tank was completely supported to prevent leaks, and, voila! Good to go....

We just set it up tonight and moved one tank to the top and will finish filling the bottom tank... but this is an awesome stand! It is a bit wobbly but seems like its gonna hold ok! I have a 60 gallon on the top and a 55 on the bottom. Looks very streamlined and modern in my room!

This stand snaps together easy. I found a rubber mallet perfect to get the tubes to slot tubes for legs together with top and bottom frames. The metal itself feels like solid metal, not some cheap pot metal. Very easy to assemble. It stands solid, if bumped it will shake a little, however I don't shake on my custom built racks so feel it's within reason, it doesn't just wobble. I have the 55g stand. The bottom I put a 55, the top is a 40g tall, identical length and width of a 55g. Down the road I plan to add a wall anchor to it, I do this with all my racks. I plant to keep it in play, and considering another tank size. For me it does the job.

I think the price is a bit much for it, especially since there were a few scuff marks on the pieces right out of the box, but you only see them when you're up close to them, and the overall style is actually nicer in person than I had expected.
Super easy to put together, I did it all by myself in under 25 minutes, and once we got the tanks on and filled, it was way sturdier than I was expecting it to be! Super happy with it all in all. Fish are happy, and I have more room for my growing collection of tanks.

Faulty craftsmanship rendering unusable

I was so excited for this stand! I went to Home Depot today to custom build shelving to go on the two levels of this stand for extra security and spent $$$ to make it perfect. I finally went to put it together and one of the metal sleeves that are supposed to be inserted in the levels of this stand were faulty (less than an inch long- all 7 of the others were over 2in long). I tried fixing it but the metal bar was pinched and secured at a very incorrect length. Because of this, it’s not possible to put the stand together. Upon closer look, one of the insert holes in the bottom level was chewed up and bent to an unusable shape. Even if I didn’t have the faulty short metal sleeve to put in that square, no support bar would have been able to fit in that very misshapen hole. I’m so upset, trying to figure out ways to fix their poor work so I can set it up tonight but it’s simply not possible. Returning in the morning :( photos show a regular support leg’s insert sleeve vs the super short faulty one. Also a photo of the chewed and misshapen square insert hole.
