Simple Fill

1) Remove top nozzle assembly

2) Manually fill and pack cylinder with grease

3) Loosely attached nozzle assembly back to cylinder and use a screwdriver to press into base and force pressure into the cylinder, priming the gun.

4) Tighten the nozzle assembly.

5) Work grease gun trigger while adding pressure at the base until it dispenses grease.

This little grease gun is exactly what I wanted for my projects. I filled it with super lube. As others have said, the nozzle tip DID NOT have a through hole so I had to file it down. You can see in my photo how far I had to file to open up the hole. Since I had told this was no problem for me but could be very frustrating to other for it not to work out of the package. The size of the grease flow is the diameter I wanted for smaller projects & needs. I already have a mini grease gun and a large grease gun for bigger projects & greasing jobs that use a zerke fitting.This is identical to the park bicycle tool grease can but much cheaper.

I bought this thing because I wanted a precise way to apply grease to my firearms. This thing is solid metal and well built. I've only dropped it once, on a concrete floor, but there was no scratch or dent and it still works fine. This thing is easy to disassemble and clean if you want to change the type of grease you're using. It works excellent for getting grease into tight, precise spots. I've got good control over the pump so I can apply just the right amount of grease inside handgun slides.
The only downside to this thing is that it can be messy to load. Someone suggested cutting a piece of cardboard to a circle to fit the size of the canister, and using that to scoop grease in and push it down.
I'm very pleased with it and will probably buy two or three more.

I filled this gun up with Super Lube and it works well. You have use a safety pin to puncture the inner seal at the tip otherwise it won't release any grease. A very thin stream comes out and if you push harder, a slightly thicker stream will shoot out. The issue I have is that after you pump, there is a residual oozing of grease that continues to come out well after your last pump. It could last minutes and leaves a mess at the tip. Pretty cool device though.

Applying grease precisely and accurately to locations can some times be a hassle and often ends in greasy fingers. No more with this little grease gun! Greasing chains, seals, bearings, whatever; having a fine applicator with a nice volume of grease on hand makes doing the rounds on all your tools fun and easy to do.

While I’ve use similar ones that screw onto the top of tubes, having the ability to pack my own grease into this one is very nice.

I always enjoy when I have an excuse to use this and expect it will continue to work well for years to come!

Arrived quickly and is well made, solid construction. I used a general purpose lithium grease, followed random YouTube instructions how to fill it and prime the pump. No issues.

The nozzle was not blocked so I didn't need to drill it out as some people have reported. The nozzle is fine though so you might need to open it up if you want a larger stream. I'm happy with it as it is.

It works very well. The pressure is strong so it comes out pretty quickly, but it's fine. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it, and can recommend it.
