Our 9 month old Pomeranian retained his baby teeth when his adult teeth came in. He has a full extra set of eye teeth, and he loves chewing on everything (including hands), so brushing his teeth would normally be a chore. The only thing that makes it doable is this tooth paste. He's too busy licking it off of the soft cloth "toothbrush" I use to even consider chomping on my fingers. It does a good job at keeping his teeth clean, even the spaces in between his adult and baby eye teeth. This should help keep dental issues at bay until the baby teeth can be extracted. As a bonus, his breath smells great!I'm definitely sold on this toothpaste and will continue to use it as long as it is available. It's a win with our fur baby and I can't recommend it enough.

This has so many good reviews, so I was excited about it. Well, the two most important things:
1. My dog did not like the taste.
2. It didn't provide a fresh breath to my dog.

Maybe I have to use it more frequently before it shows an effect, so I don't want to judge too early. But my girlfriend used a product, which the dog also didn't like, but wow - his breath was fresh afterwards and had a lasting effect as well! So I did expect more from this one.

My dog thinks it’s a treat… I have to be careful when I brush her teeth because she just wants to lick it off and eat it. But I would rather have that problem than have her trying to avoid it!
