Now, if you open my bag, you will see a Trek 1400. Nested inside that is the Trek 900, a Solo Stove and 4 small sporks. I was able to cut the weight and size down to less than 1/4. So I loaded my backpacks with a gallon of water instead.
These are my thoughts:
Pros:
1. The Lid of the Trek 1400 and 900 can be used as Plates and frying pans.
2. The Solo Stove seems to be purpose built for this. A perfect fit for the 900. If you don't have a Solo Stove, get one! You will never need to bring any fuel. I burn twigs, leaves, grass or wood.
3. Made in Japan so the fit and finish of this is excellent.
4. The Pot can be used as a cooking pot, a cup, an eating bowl, a bathing scoop, and coffee mug.
5. Extremely light. Barely know it is there.
6. Extremely inexpensive for what you get.
7. You can boil your drinking water here very quickly.
Cons:
1. It is not a full sized cooking pot, but then again this a camping and survival tool.
Summary:
Excellent camping and survival gear. Get one. Better yet get this and the Trek 1400.
I have a nice collection of the aluminum Snow Peak Solo, but have since gone exclusively to the Titanium for it lightness and strength.
For many years I have built up a large collection of Backpacking cookwear, but have all but discontinued using any of them. I use my Snow peak and one small frying pan as my mainstain -all in Snow Peak.If you want something light, durable and nearly indestructable, that will never let you down, go with Snow Peak.
Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2012
Pros:
Lightweight ( 189 grams, 6.7 oz pot and pan weight only)
Durable
Safe to eat with (Titanium leeches VERY little into our foods, no non-stick coatings)
Fits an 8oz Fuel Canister and Stove, plus accessories as pictured
More versatile than just a pot! Used pan for a thirsty pup when backpacking.
Cons:
Some reviewers have mentioned problems with their pans "folding" under weight due to the way the hinge works. I've not experienced this, and have stressed the hinge substantially- I figured I'd mention it.
I've not experienced a single real issue myself.
Overall I'd highly recommend this Cookset. It's a great buy, and Titanium really lasts for the long haul. I love mine overall!

Il titanio ha pregi e difetti come ogni altro materiale ma se si cerca di limare i grammi è la sola valida alternativa all'alluminio.
