Fill Zipzicle with funnel

Freeze Zipzicle

Zipzicle Fun

Fill

Filling is easy using a funnel, kitchen baster or by simply pinching the top and pouring in the filling. If your filling is particularly thick, we recommend a batter pen to do the job. Recommended fill line included on pouch.

Freeze

Use any freezer-safe container or mug. Freeze large batches without using valuable freezer space. Safe for home and commercial freezers.

Fun

Perfect for families, class parties, teams, after school snacks and while on-the-go. To keep hands warm, check out our Zipzicle Neoprene Holders.

Zipzicle stands behind their products.

Family owned and operated

In 2009, we discovered that our son could not eat items that contained strong food dyes. Talking with other parents we soon found out we were not alone. Many children and adults have special dietary considerations, including those that are life threatening. Purchasing commercially available ice pops was not an option and overwhelmingly parents want healthy choices and the ability to make “real” food. Zipzicle is the original zip-top ice-pop and the brand you can trust.

Safety By Design

We take your safety seriously so when designing and bringing our product to the market we consulted with the best in the industry. Our products are also third party tested by a certified lab. Cool concept
I had different expectations for this product. I assumed I would be able to reuse the item (maybe I read that in a product review). I made yogurt fruit pops. I was not able to reuse them especially when the kiddos bite on them. My son also has difficulties with keeping the top open. I love the concept but it didn’t work for us.

I really like these. I read through all the comments and honestly I think people expect perfection which no product is going to supply. But these work well, are not that hard to fill with liquid - even with a measuring cup that has a little spout - and hold up pretty well during use. It does take a little effort to push the frozen pops up for eating so for younger children you might need to cut the top off in which case just don't think of them as reusable but rather as disposable. I'll bet you buy ziploc bags all the time and don't concern yourself with reusing THEM. This is a convenience item albeit a terrific one. I plan to reorder and keep some unused ones on hand to give out so other people can try them. I don't have kids. I just bought them because I like popsicles myself. This lets me control the calorie content and the quality of ingredients. I recommend getting the neoprene sleeves too otherwise you will have cold hands !

I would like to share a tasty filling idea for those who are interested. I tried mixing coconut water plus lime or orange juice, a tiny amount of stevia and about 1/2 of a small container of Dannon Activia vanilla yogurt - just enough to turn the liquid cloudy. (I was using up leftovers). It made a very tasty pop - the orange was reminiscent of the dreamscicles we used to eat as a kid and the vanilla flavor was just enough. The lime was also great. Both are tremendously refreshing when you come in from the heat. And if I am not mistaken I think coconut water is a healthful way to replenish electrolytes.

I’m sure I chose these based on some blogger’s recommendation as I was looking for some good adult freezer pop recipes. I made these to share with friends after a hot work day at our camp and everyone loved the pops and actually thought I had bought them. The bags are durable and I appreciate having the fill line indicated although you could get away with maybe half the head space allotted. Definitely remember to freeze these vertically in the freezer until solid, then they can be stored horizontally.
I was concerned that the zipper might impede extracting the pop through the opening as zip bags tend to pinch in at the corners, but this was not an issue at all. These are disposable but I’m sure they can be washed in hot soapy water and reused if you’re using them for your own household. Would buy again.... In fact I did just to have a good supply on hand. Everyone enjoyed the pops so much I know I’ll be making more batches in the near future.

These things are awesome!!! I bought them because I'm pregnant and will be finishing my third trimester in August, so I wanted something to cool me down without giving me a ton of sugar and artificial colors. I bought these and filled them with a veggie juice blend and froze them, and they work perfectly! Easy to fill with a funnel, and they even have a fill line marked on the bags so you don't overfill them. None of them leaked or spilled when freezing, and they are easy to open and enjoy on a hot day! They are made of a slightly thicker plastic than regular ziplock bags (think freezer gallon bag thickness), and the zipper is firm and easy to use. Overall, these have absolutely no flaw that I can find. Perfect for making summer treats!

These are fantastic! I've been making popcicles out of fruit that will soon go bad (lots of watermelon this summer). The whole family likes the healthy fruit popcicles. The fill line and zip top are very convenient. The opening is wide enough to pour in pretty easily, but I prefer to use a funnel. I like that these can be scattered around the freezer in any position, so they don't take up as much space as traditional popcicles molds. I only have two problems with these Zipzicles. First, my popcicles can be a little hard to push up, but that may be because I'm using fruit instead of fruit punch. Second, they can be difficult to clean for reuse. If you rinse them right away, it's not too bad. Fruit puree sometimes gets in the zipper channel. These are also hard to dry. I use a baby bottle drying rack with some success. But it's nice that these are affordable enough that I don't feel bad about tossing them out if they look bad after a few uses. My favorite popcicles have been pureed watermelon with lemon or lime juice and zest and a tiny bit of sugar or Splenda. I plan to try a watermelon-mint one soon.

I chose these over the other, disposable brand, and now that I've used them, I'm glad that I did.
Nice and sturdy, they stand up well as you funnel-fill them and the zip-closure is well-designed so that it zips without a fuss. I should know; I just made 36 pops!
They seal tightly, and the plastic is thick, but packing your finished pops in a gallon freezer bag should ensure that they don't pick up any funky freezer odors, and make them a lot easier to wrangle.
Keep a wider-nozzle funnel on hand if you plan to make pops with anything thick, like yogurt or puréed fruit, as I did. The included funnel is wee, and definitely made for juice.
No kids in our house, just eco-conscious grown-ups who like a frosty, healthy treat now and then, and these should easily last a couple of summers, at the very least. Would definitely recommend!

These are so awesome. I absolutely love Zipzicles! As a mom who doesn't give my children highly processed and non-organic foods, I find these to be incredibly helpful. I order a bunch every month and fill them with all kinds of fun stuff. Our favorite is yogurt mixed with puréed strawberries and honey (it's like an organic homemade gogurtz) and we've started trying other fruits like blueberries. My kids like them frozen and so do I because it's less messy. For cold little hands use the Zipzicle "koozies". They are great for breakfast on the go or for an afternoon snack. For treats, I mix whipped cream with pudding and freeze it, we've also done lemonade. The possibilities are endless. So yummy! The reason for my four star rating is because I wish they were a bit skinnier. My kids have trouble getting their mouths all the way around them. We freeze them which solves the issue because they push the food out and lick it but it would be nice to have the option of packing them up for lunches and picnics away from home. I still love them though.

I absolutely love these! No more paying for freezies and popsicles with sugar and other crappy ingredients in them. It’s a cold winter here and dry inside and sometimes I crave an icy snack and these are the perfect solution! I fill each one up to the line with orange or any other juice using an ordinary kitchen funnel, zip it closed and put them in the freezer. Mine arrived yesterday and I’ve already had two and just rinced them out and filled them back up again ready for the freezer. Just a little hint - if you mistakenly fill them too high above the line just insert a straw, put your finger over the top of the straw and pull any excess out, this helps to keep the zip enclosure dry and clean. I plan to reuse them plenty of times because the plastic seems quite durable.

We love making smoothies and homemade juices and putting the leftovers in these for the kids to have for summer. My son’s fav is frozen apple juice, orangeade, or smoothie. My only complaint is that you have to cut them rather than unzip for them to actually come up and out to lick. I was hoping to reuse them at least once, but honestly for the price I am not super bothered. Still cheaper than buying from the shops and I know exactly what is put into each flavour so my kids aren’t consuming dyes and fake flavours.

Will def be purchasing again.

Would give this product more stars if could! These are thicker, more stronger type of plastic. They fill up with no issues at all and do not leak. With 2 kids and in summer this product is an absolute must!! My kids love freezies but store bought ones are full of sugar and questionable ingredients. This way I can make my own of ANY flavour! We did different fresh juices such watermelon and mango, ice tea flavour, chocolate milk (tastes just like fudgesicle), did couple sangria ones for mommy. What a great product. Seen few people review that they had issues filling it.. you need to use funnel! Will be ordering more!
