Dye comes out within months with minimal use
Had 2 recliners, within a few months dye came out in sections not related to skin contact. Retailer replaced due to being within warranty period. Same thing happened with replacement chairs. We were denied refund (DO NOT want Hooker chair replacements!) because it was just over 1 year even though we were at our winter home for 6 months and not using the chairs. Picture shows the chair that wasn't used. Horrible product and customer service!

The color of the leather is coming off any where it is touched.
We bought 2 recliners a little over a year ago. The brown color started to come off almost immediately. Head rest, arms, footrest any where touched now has no color. Hooker strung us out until the warranty ran out and now will not respond to us at all.
These chairs were quite expensive and turned out to be of awful quality.
Just purchased 2 Lazy Boys today to replace the Hookers.
Buyer beware of the Hooker Furniture Co.

I bought two of these for my family room. They are comfortable, not over sized and have unique, pleasing design. They arrived with scuffed up legs -- looked like 20+ years of getting run into by a vacuum cleaner. Hooker says they will ship replacements. Hooker advertises their stuff as high-end, but it's not. The product is produced in China and the upholstery job is a bit lumpy around the seams, not smooth like it should be. Appears rushed and mass-produced; not "hand made" craftsmanship. And the seat cushions are starting to show seating ripples and depressions after only two week of use.

Also, beware of the color. The pictures are suppose to be showing the ARROZ style but they they came in MUCH darker. Turned out it worked with our other furniture OK, so we kept them. But be careful. ARROZ (-088) is not the nice milk chocolate color shown in the picture. It is a dark brown. I believe the picture is really the TORO (-086) model. I'd recommend getting leather samples and order based on them.

Cymax has been accommodating, however. The price dropped $133/chair from the time I ordered it until it arrived at my home and they adjusted the price. One e-mail said no -- it had to be within 10 day of the order. A second said yes. The credit actually came through. So I'm not sure what their policy really is. Maybe they gave it to me because of the other problems. They also have ordered replacement legs which I am hoping to see any day.
