This dash cam went above and beyond expectations. I was nervous about purchasing my first dash cam because there obviously is a flood of poorly designed fly-by-night units out there from various companies. This unit comes packaged very nicely like something you would expect to take off the shelf at Best Buy or another electronics store. The instruction manual is well written without mistranslated and broken English. At least for me, this means that the company is established and cares about their overall exposure on the market. The set-up on this unit is quite easy. You simply attach the suction cup hardware to the camera body, plug the included 32GB card into the unit and then plug the unit into your USB port. It starts up and is ready instantly. The menu is very simplified and easy to use. All functions are common sense and can be understood without reading the manual. Though, I recommend reading the manual as there are some good things to know before using this feature. I especially love the audio recording feature. I could see this come in handy in case for example you read off a plate number or description while driving and need the recording to remember details of what you saw. The picture is crisp and the plate on a vehicle is readable up to 6 meters or so. The unit creates 5 minute or less videos and overwrites when full. It also has a dedicated folder for protected content that the user does not want to be overwritten. You simply hit the left most button to move current video clips to that folder.
Overall, I couldn't be happier. For the price, the quality and what you get, this product definitely earns 5 stars.
