Robert Adkisson is the author of the Child of Lies series, beginning with Book 1: Winter's Bite. He also has a leadup book entitled The Path to Winter's Bite, which gives some ancient history and background story for the novel itself. The series will continue with The Valceine Prophecy in 2020. Born in San Diego, CA, he currently resides in Somerset, KY with his wife and kids. Growing up, one of his fondest memories was eating breakfast with his family at Bob's Big Boy, then crossing the parking lot to visit the bookstore while his dad paid for breakfast. He grew up on Choose Your Own Adventure, Fantasy Fighting Gamebooks, and the Lone Wolf series. J. R. R. Tolkien, David Eddings, Terry Brooks, and Katherine Kurtz were among his many favorite authors.
