When we think we got it bad!
Wow the obstacles they as a couple went through just proves the saying "in sickness and in health to death do us part..." I know the authors and see how dedicated Joe is to his bride! MaryAnn has a great sense of humor, an endearing smile and she remains a positive loving woman. I read this in one day and listened to her beautiful voice on her CD. A must read.

A story of how quickly life can change in ways which many of us could never imagine. Their story made me smile, made me cry, gave me hope. If you need a good book to help provide the courage you need to tackle a tough time in your life or if you need to be reminded to be grateful and stop “sweating the small stuff”, I recommend reading “through fire and rain”. You will not be disappointed. In fact, you may even look at life a little differently.

A wonderful book about courage, love, and tenacity. This couple went through so many ups and downs and just kept fighting. They are amazing...both of them. Read it and you will be amazed at the strength of the human spirit and how true love and the passion for living can carry one forward. Great book and check out MaryAnn's CD as well. She is a very talented jazz singer and after all life has thrown at her, she is finally able to sing again.
