I love Christmas! I love everything about Christmas. I love the music, the snow, the decorations, the presents, the shopping, the crowds, church plays, and choirs.
I am in direct sales so I am busy this time of year. I try to get my house decorated early, so I can help others with their Christmas gifts. It’s always busy, and always stressful.
This year I had to have my elbow rebuilt after a fall. Recovery is very slow, and to top things off, I broke my finger of the opposite hand. So basically I am trying to do everything with 2 fingers. It’s December, I’m stressing out so bad, the anxiety is really getting to me. I host Christmas and I can’t decorate. I can’t wrap gifts, I can’t even cook. What am I going to do? Everyone is too busy to help, and I am not one to ask for help anyway. I want Christmas to be like it was when I was a child. Full of magic and wonder. I really don’t know how my grandma managed to do it all.

Enter this beautiful wonderful book- at the perfect time. I realized that I’m trying to make the perfect Christmas. Each year I add more things to the list, that I just don’t have time for. I cram it all in anyway. Christmas comes and goes and I barely remember it. I’m exhausted to the point of being sick. I didn’t enjoy Christmas at all. It’s been this way for years. I’m trying to make the perfect Christmas, but what is the point if I don’t get to enjoy it?
I thought this book would help me find ways of making things simple this year and it did, but it did so much more. It made me realize that I am doing it all wrong. I don’t need to do 100 things every year. I don’t need to stress about going to every single party and event. I need to pick a few things and really enjoy them. The same with the menu, and decorating.
This book really took away all my anxiety about this year, but i believe it has changed my life and every Christmas in the future too.

"Simply Christmas" is a book which can take your holiday from frenzied to peaceful. Too often the holidays approach and we're not ready. The commercials and magazines laden with perfect houses, and smiling guests make it even worse. Sandy Kreps wanted to do something about that. She knows how stressful the holidays can be. She also knows it doesn't have to be that way. You'll find practical suggestions including meal planning, great recipes, decorating and even gift ideas. It's a myriad of helpful tips in one place. Clearly written and peppered with wonderful quotes throughout each chapter, you're sure to enjoy this book and this Christmas even more.

In addition to the book comes an invitation to her website. You'll join a community of others who enjoy the simpler life. It is possible.

My blogging friend Sandy Kreps has written this super helpful book, perfect for busy moms like me. It's only three days until Christmas today when I read it, and I still have time to apply some of these great tips. I appreciate Sandy's friendly and encouraging style. As a green thinker, I especially enjoyed the eco-friendly chapter. I will be baking a Happy Birthday Jesus cake per her suggestion. Thanks Sandy for this wonderful little book!

I liked this when I read it. Then when I walked into a big box store 3 days before Halloween and saw the Christmas stuff out already, well it was then that I fell in love with this book, Nice job and I think all of us in the western world could benefit from a simplifying of Christmas and our lives in general. The tips in this book are an excellent beginning for that. Thanks Sandy Kreps for putting pen to paper so to speak, and reminding us once again how to make the main things the main things...

I totally enjoyed Sandy Kreps latest work Simply Christmas. Having a year with no time I was banging my head about what to do to offer family gifts that were personal with no time to shop. I am a buy all year shopper searching for the perfect personal gift. But have not been shopping. I read her book in a short time over Lunch and by the end of the meal I had my holiday preplanned and ready to calendar out! Love you Sandy! Thank you for one less thing to worry about this holiday! lmc.

For the first time in a few years, I am excited about Christmas! It used to be my favourite time of the year. Then, a growing family, increased obligations and the pressure to do it all turned me into a bit of a Scrooge. I tried 'countdown to Christmas' programs but they didn't ease the overwhelming anxiety I began to feel every November. After reading Sandy's book, I am looking forward to Christmas again!

This book is a treasure and what sets it apart is Sandy's approach: forget all the things you've been told you should do and pause to consider what you want Christmas to look like. What follows is a thorough and practical approach to making your dream Christmas a reality.

A quick and easy read, this book is literally packed with brilliant ideas and simple solutions. It's a comprehensive guide to truly enjoying the most wonderful time of the year.
