Product Description

The Nano POG, smallest member of the POG clan, packs a new algorithm for superior tracking and sound.

From the manufacturer

Nano POG Polyphonic Octave Generator

The smallest member of the polyphonic POG clan provides impeccable tracking and sound. Separate level controls for dry, sub octave and octave up plus an extra Dry out and silent footswitching provide the perfect formula for this compact jewel.

SUB OCTAVE Knob

Controls the output volume of the SUB OCTAVE signal. The SUB OCTAVE signal is one octave below the original input signal, or half the frequency. As this knob is rotated clockwise, the volume of the SUB OCTAVE signal increases.

OCTAVE UP Knob

Controls the output volume of the OCTAVE UP signal. The OCTAVE UP signal is one octave above the original input signal, or twice the frequency. The volume of the OCTAVE UP signal increases as this knob is rotated clockwise.

DRY Knob

Controls the output volume of the DRY signal at the EFFECT OUT jack. The DRY signal is the signal present at the INPUT jack. As this knob is turned clockwise, the volume of the DRY signal at the EFFECT OUT Jack increases.

Gain Problems - Get the Micro POG instead
If you compare the pedal to nothing then I'm sure you could assume it's doing something ok. I have a micro pog. I A/B tested this pedal against it (plugged into both supplied power adapters and VooDoo Labs Pedal Power Plus 2) and the Nano Pog gave off a ton of unwanted gain when you turned the "sub octave" dial up. Additionally, the fidelity of the tone generated is not even close to what you can get out of a Micro Pog. I am honestly at a loss as to why a company would create this and do it so badly. It you are in the market for an octave generator make the extra inch of room for a Micro Pog. Do not waste you cash on this marketing gimmick. I'm not against the company here. Give them your money. Just give it to them for the Micro Pog instead.
