Quick Start:
GPS and the Nike+ sensor combine to give you accurate info -- indoors or out -- without the wait. Using the Nike+ sensor (sold separately), you can start a run without having a GPS signal. Also, if you’re running outdoors in an urban canyon or tunnel where the GPS signal is obstructed, the Nike+ sensor kicks in for seamless data tracking.
Personal Coach: Reminds you to run, stores your Nike+ run history, and remembers your PRs. Set up the type of program you want based on your experience level, event distance and how frequently you are able to run each week. Nike+ Coach will track your individual runs via graphs, allowing you to compare your times and better understand the trends in your overall performance. You’ll also get tips and advice to ensure you’re training properly.
What's in the Box
Nike+ SportWatch GPS, Quick-start Guide, USB Cable (for Hard-to-access USB Ports)
Features:
Stopwatch: You can start, stop, pause and mark up to 50 laps by tapping the screen. Once you are done, you can review your total time, best lap time, average lap time or individual lap times. This data is stored on your watch until you rest it and will not be uploaded to nikeplus.com.
Alarm: You can set an alarm on your watch. When the alarm is set there is a visual indication on the watch face.
Time Set: The time of day or date can be set on the watch without needing to plug it in and use Nike+ Connect.
Pace/Speed: Runners can now choose between displaying pace and displaying speed on the watch.
Laps: The sensitivity of the tap feature has been improved so that users can confidently get a tap when they want, and not when they don't.
Ultimate Tracker:

Inverted Screen: The screen can be inverted to display black text on a white background for those runners that prefer it.

What the Nike+ watch does is let me know not just what I DID, but what I'm doing. If I slow down my pace I know and can consciously pick it back up. If a new route is gonna leave me coming up short of a predetermined goal for distance I know to add a quick extra lap through my neighborhood to make up the difference.
Linking up to the satellites hasn't been a problem for me yet. When I'm grabbing my sneakers I just turn the watch on and put it in my kitchen window which faces south. By the time I'm laced up it's ready to go. I've not had any disconnects, although the trails I cut through aren't too heavily wooded and admittedly the leaves haven't come back for spring yet.
I'm not a big guy, but the watch is compact enough that I've worn it as a regular watch to work and have been able to use it on lunch break when I go for a walk to see how long the walking trails are.
Accuracy wise it's not perfect, don't know if anything is. There's a 1 mile route we walk the dog on, my 11 year old son likes to wear it on those treks and run (and yes, it can cinch down enough to fit on his very slim wrist). Every once in a while it'll add an extra .1 miles to the route, but it could just be a matter of extra street crossing back and forth. When walking or running I stick to the sidewalks, but the google map shots downloaded often show me off into the street, so a bit of distance miscalculations could be made because of the 10' differences I suppose.
I've read there's a way to save the data into an excel sheet, but I've not investigated that. We're a completely wired family with wi-fi and internet connections up 24-7, so the interface with the Nike+ website hasn't been a deterrent for me at all. The site was down when I first received the watch from Amazon, but I've not had a problem with it since.
All in all I really love this thing. I was using the app for nike+ on my ipod touch, but it just used the built in motion sensor(not too accurate) and I hate dragging the thing out with me. I was considering getting an iphone almost exclusively for the gps functions with the nike app, but this is infinitely more affordable and versatile for my needs (I didn't have a watch!)
When not activating the GPS the battery seems to last forever, I've gone 4 or 5 days with it in regular time keeping mode without plugging it in. It didn't bother with the foot pod, didn't see the point. If I run on the treadmill IT tells me my pace and distance, and I don't record these things religiously, anyway. the GPS catches on plenty quick for me, no need for a manual start. Maybe when the tree cover is back on I'll find a need for it?
1) The watch arrived very quickly (3 days after ordering it) even though I selected super saver shipping.I am very impressed with Amazon's level of service. The packaging was done extremely well, and I must say I almost don't want to throw the box away as weird as that probably sounds. I'm just a fan of things being presented well. EVEN for the most mundane of things.
2)The watch looks awesome! I was very impressed with its' stylish look which is exactly what I was looking for. ( I was looking for a watch that could work very well during a run but could be worn daily as my day-to-day stylish watch.
3) Contrary to what some reviewers may say about the watches ability to acquire a GPS signal, I was able to acquire the signal very quickly and never lost it once it was connected. The GPS went on to be extremely accurate in every one of my runs. I bought this watch since I already had a Nike+ shoe pod sensor . The sensor connected to my watch quickly without any issue.
4) Lastly, the website is very interactive, user friendly, and provides a detailed view of your runs. I highly recommend that you link your Nike+ account to your Facebook account. It adds an extra layer of fun and motivation as you can compete with friends, share routes/stats, etc. Great Software.
5)I highly recommend this watch to anyone who would like to see a detailed breakdown of their runs and would appreciate a watch that looks cool.
I few things I do not like about the watch:
* It has lost 2 of my runs. Once the GPS went nuts and recorded a 7 mile run as a 2 mile run, and the other time it just never connected to a satellite so I just ran without it. While both of those time aggravated me to no end, the fact that there were only two incidents in over a year is really good.
* The amount of time it takes to connect to a GPS satellite is incredibly unpredictable. Sometimes it takes 3 seconds, sometimes 15-20 minutes, and to make it worse, if you wait too long it un-readies itself. It is sometimes difficult to try to time when the watch will be ready to run and when you'll be ready to run. This too is quite annoying, but it's far less frequent than it feels like. Most of the time this is not a problem.
* No export ability. You can only send your runs to Nike+. Nike+ is a good site, don't get me wrong, but if you want to use another tool like MapMyRun, or some desktop software you are out of luck. Nike+ (at the time of this writing) has no way to export your data so you'll be locked into using Nike+. And this too, isn't too terribly bad. Nike+ is a nice site, but if your friends are on something else...
* No pace alerts. While the watch will continually show you your pace as you run, there is no way to set an upper and lower limit and have it alert you when you vary from that pace. Most watches do this, and it seems like the nike+ watch should be able to do it too, but it doesn't
* This only does running (as far as I can tell). It doesn't do much for you on a bike (if you do both)
* It doesn't work with Linux (meaning if you only have Linux you can not sync the watch with the nike+ website)
So that's all the "bad" stuff, here's the good stuff
* IMO it's probably the best value watch for the price. If you started out using the android or iPhone version of nike+, and you've now graduated to "I don't want to run with this stupid phone anymore", this is likely the next logical step. It was for me. If you know for sure you're going to be running for the rest of your life, you might want to check out Garmin, but if you feel like a sophomore or junior runner, or not sure you even want a running watch this might be for you. Plus it's much cheaper than a Garmin.
* The UI is dead simple, and very well done.
* The battery lasts for a long time. I wind up charing it after my runs, but it never needs it. I have never had an issue with batteries (granted, I am not an ultra-runner or anything).
* It's really light, looks pretty cool, and is well constructed.
* If you like this kind of thing, it gives you "atta-boys" when you do something far / fast (I don't like this feature, but some do)
I am at the point now where I want my data. I don't want to be tied to nike+ anymore (I have a special desktop application that I am using for my training) so I am moving on from this watch in a few months (to the Garmin Forerunner 220 possibly), but I have to say I have enjoyed my time with with watch and I am very glad I bought this item.
