Wow another great stories by Carrie! This time the story is a little more sad, as Brynn has known for a year who her mate is but he didn't recognise her. Finn become Heir to the Redwood pack at the age of three due to a demon and since then he hasn't been fully connected to his wolf. Unbeknownst to him he doesn't realise that Brynn is his mate and she thinks he has rejected her. Lots going on in this book, humans out to get the wolfs and witches, no resolution yet, but hopefully soon! Definitely a recommended read:)

Their whole world has changed and Finn and Brynn must fight as one because with one wrong move everything could be destroyed, they’ll do what it takes to save them all even if they can’t save themselves in this pulse pounding paranormal romance.

Brynn Brentwood has spent her whole life protecting her pack and Finn has been broken more than once and the reader can’t help but get caught up in this turbulent story as a broken bond interferes in what should have been. The chemistry sizzles from every page and the emotions flow with vibrant intensity as these strong compelling characters try to handle what fate has denied them while the fast paced smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance.

If you read Tattered Loyalties then you know that the fall out isn’t going to be pretty as the humans try to decide how they are going to handle the wolves. Expectation builds lots of tension throughout the story as Brynn and Finn do their best to help their packs but with hostilities growing and the danger escalating things aren’t looking so good. The reader can’t help but get emotionally involved in this story as you can practically feel the energy from every page and of course there is more than meets the eye with what is happening between the humans and wolves. Unexpected twists keeps everyone on their toes with lots of excitement ensuring that there is never a dull moment while the intriguing events draw the readers deeper into the story and refuse to let go.

I have been a fan of the Redwood Pack since its inception and I have now added the Talon Pack to my favorites as well and this new world that both Packs find themselves facing promises lots of exciting stories to come although I don’t know how Carrie Ann Ryan will manage to top Finn and Brynn’s story as one that will be forever etched into my heart.

While this one was slightly better than book 1 in this series I still had problems with it the threads left open in book 1 were not tied off in this story and not even mentioned, there were a lot of grammatical mistakes which took away from the story and discrepancies in the plot from beginning chapters to later chapters but I did enjoy the characters Brynn and Finn were a great tortured couple.

Brynn the Princess of the Talon and Finn the Heir to the Redwood Pack have a rather tough row to hoe in the story. Finn is a very broken pack Heir who has not been in complete union and contact with his wolf since he was a small child. Since they do not communicate he is unable to sense the mating bond when it occurs.

Brynn has been awaiting a fated mate for over a 100 years and when it happens her fated mate does not realize they are mates. It makes for a rather frustrating tale not only for the pair but for the reader. I found myself getting very tired of the constant back and forth between the two characters totally don't seem to understand that Fate means you don't get a choice and you need to figure out what is wrong and fix it. When they finally do this, I for one, breathed a relieved breath of Thank God.

This entire series is very complex and very hard to keep straight at times and requires the reader to pay close attention to all the little details which is hard to do when you just want to slap the main characters silly and skip over all the angst.

It is well written, highly intense and the characters are good but at times rather child like an exceptionally annoying. Over all you can't beat the read and the price, but it does require some patience.

The only bad thing I can say about it is it should be longer especially since its 4.99 luckily I got this book on deal at 99p before it went up whoop. So I don't know when ill get the next book as I grudge paying 4.99 for only just over 200 pages. On the up side the storyline was great also had lots of strong characters. The main pair are perfect for each other such a lovely story Finn was just a beautiful character considering the life he's had brynn was hardened by her up bringing but still a sweetheart deep down. they definitely belong together I just wish it could of been a smidge longer because I really really really want to read the next one now but grudge the price but I think I'll eventually buy it because the story's are worth it despite the shortness so all in all fantastic read could be longer or even the price a bit cheaper and then I'd been 100% happy. I was going to give 4 stars because of the price and shortness but I knew what I was getting when I bought it soo 5 stars from me the story was worth it in the end.

Second book in the Talon pack series. Main focus is on Brynn and Finn who are the public faces for their packs. Brynn struggles with working so close with Finn because she recognizes that he is her mate but he doesn't feel the same draw. On top of that they have to deal with increased violence aimed at them from prejudiced humans.

This book is full of great characters, great writing, action, suspense and romance. I look forward to reading each book in the series.
