This series develops characters in each of the books and just when you think you have someone figured out, BAM! the next book is released and your thoughts completely change!! S.J. writes so that you feel what each of the characters is feeling...it isn't hard to picture the scenes in your mind. This book (entire series, if you haven't read them yet) should definietly be on your spring break beach read list!! OMG! Where to begin? S.J. did it again! Bless Her Heart is by far my favorite book by her. She does an amazing job taking the biggest jerk and redeeming him. Who knew I would absolutely LOVE Jake? Not me, that's for sure, but I do. I so do. He may be my favorite Like A Lady man. :-) Cassie is sweet and innocent when she begins hanging out with Jake. Throughout the entire story, you see both Cassie and Jake evolve and grow as people. S.J. makes you feel what the characters are feeling every step of the way.

This is a definite must read for everyone.

Okay Let me say I am not a Jake fan at all. I hated him for all his cheating and jerk ways to both Red and Shelby. I love Cassie how can you not love her.
Jake is what Cassie needs though.....the good Jake anyway. No girl needs the jerk he was in the other 5 books. He gets Cassie to live. And when things get tough he still loves her. Even though she pushes him away. Love this book... mostly because of Cassie. I won't say I love Jake but Cassie needs him so he's okay.

I've read the entire series of Like a Lady series. I've laughed, cried, and been mad with the characters. I think every book gets better and better, not like a lot of series that lose their appeal with sequels. Every character has his or her own personality and you feel like you know each personally. S.J. Sawyer wrote another fantastic book with this one! I'd advise anyone that wants to feel what the characters are feeling to pick up a book of hers!

Well, when I reviewed 'No Offense Darlin' I was almost positive that Jake was in no way a redeemable character. Oh how wrong I was! Jake is arrogant and cocky but he's also sweet and S.J, being the amazing author that she is, showed all his side's good and bad. I found myself rooting for Jake and Cassie almost from the beginning. Definitely a must read, the entire series actually is a must read! Can't wait to see who's next! 😉
