Perfect! Use coffee liners though
My husband is a crazy coffee drinker and we recently went on a camping trip. Read some articles on cowboy coffee and thought “god no! No way he’s gonna drink that!!” Then I bought one of those super small keurig type coffee machines but then realized no portable battery small enough for camping would support it….ugh. Then I came across these!Thank goodness for this one review that said to use the #4 Melitta coffee filters for a good strong coffee flavor. And honey, let me tell you! Delicious. The filters fit perfectly and make sure to pour slow and cover all those grinds so all that good flavor can get to where it needs to go. Also, I used keurig cups. Just popped one open, emptied into the filter and Java drip. I find that the keurig cups coffee grinds are EXTRA fine and the coffee flavor is sooo much better than using traditional grinds. Plus they’re small and compact, comes in different flavors (we love pike place by Starbucks)…....perfect for camping. Everyone at our camp was so impressed I was making coffee for everyone!
