My daughter loves this thing. It's largely constructed very well. The one part that is not so hot is the actuator/"gas" pedal. It cracked so I went to home depot and bought some long bolts to reconnect it.

Also, do teach your kids about physics first and make them wear a helmet My 7 year old daughter got a valuable lesson in centripetal force when she did donuts on this thing. It flipped right over. That's purely her fault, though, as this cart has a very low center of gravity and does not tip easily. If you go into a tight spin, you will flip over. You don't want to leave a kid unattended even for a second. She was not hurt at all, but could've been.

When used as directed, this thing is a lot of fun. I've even driven it back into the garage a few times when she left it in the driveway. Whether I did donuts or not, I'm not telling.

My 10 year old son loves this Cart! It's unlike any other cart out there in regards to it's capabilities, and if you've been through the Razor products, then this one is even better. Took my son a few minutes to get used to the controls on the cart, and now he drifts around like a pro on the driveway. One down side is that the Wheel to the back of the cart wore out in less than a month so it had to be replaced. Stick to smooth surfaces to maintain the longevity of all of the wheels. Awesome ride on!

Do not buy a Crazy Cart!

Ordered a crazy cart for my son's birthday on May 2nd. Unit arrived on time, gifted it to my boy, he was obviously very very happy. We charged it overnight, tried the following day. He tries it, but after 2 min the unit stopped and refused to go. Called Razor customer service, they asked me to follow some procedure over the phone, but it didn't work to re-activate the unit. Sent me to a maintenance shop in Santa Monica, telling me it will take less than 10 days to fix. Maintenance told me it was the electric harness, and it's a common problem. Fast forward to September (yes, 4months later), unit not fixed, maintenance shop told me they received twice the wrong part, and so on... Called 3 times customer service of Razor during that time to ask what took them so long, the last time (In September), as I was pissed of, I told the girl "do you think I will have to wait until the next bday of my son to get this unit fixed", she answered "maybe...!" laughing about it. I asked her to give me her supervisor, she hang up on me. I called Amazon customer service to explain my problem, and although we were already out of the 90 days warranty period, they agreed to pick up the unit at my place, without cartons, and refund my money. I'd like to take the opportunity to thanks the flawless customer service of Amazon, and to point at the crappy one from Razor. First of all your Crazy Cart is a piece of crap poorly made in China, second of all you have so many unit with the same problem that not able to fix it (electric harness is in back order for 4 months now), last but not least, I had one of your customer service representing YOUR brand being very arrogant and laughing at my problem. It was my son's birthday that you guys ruined. Thanks a lot!

Amazing fun, terribly built

I wish I would have read the reviews before buying it because I seem to be having the same problem as a lot of other people. I took this out for the first time today and within 3 minutes of riding it, the chain came off. And it continued to do so all day. Hopefully after I remove the chain and take off a couple links it will fix that issue. Also, the front tire looks weak and I'm not surprised people are saying they need to replace them. I might try to modify the kart and upgrade the tire and motor to something a little stronger and more powerful.

That all being said, once you get over the amount of construction and maintenance you will need to do, this kart is insanely fun! I am 28 years old and my three best friends and me spent two hours on this thing earlier having the times of our lives in a parking lot. I think it was worth the money and I would be a huge advocate for this thing if only it were built better.

Crazy is a good description for this. This cart was an upgrade from a ground force go kart that my kids have had a lot of fun on. This little cart isn't really meant for straight line speed, but for drifts and spins. It's pretty crazy and has good enough speed that it's exciting for 10 and 13 year olds alike. The picture on this item isn't accurate though. You see two small casters in the front of the frame in the picture. These are really there just to keep it from tipping over. The item I got had two posts with hard plastic sliders on it. Achieved the same goal, but clearly not as durable long term. I would have much rather had the casters and was a little disappointed by the incorrect picture. But the price was better than most places. Also, the picture CLEARLY shows a seatbelt and my unit does not have a seatbelt or any place to put one. Pretty good chance that at high speed if you go into a spin you could probably get whipped off of it. We'll see how that goes when summer hits.
