Amazon should take more care with returned items. This vaccum could have started a fire in my garage. I’m very disappointed. This seems to be very good quality and well thought out. I used it to vacuum out several gallons of water in our rooftop swamp cooler. I did not buy the extra cost wet vac filter. I took out the paper filter and used the cone shaped blower accessory on the hose to provide some resistance for the powerful vacuum and only filled the tank half full each time before rolling it down to the roof edge to drain it. All of the components are pretty heavy duty and the drain on the bottom works well.

this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! My husband is trying to put this together and he is a very strong man - this was designed to be assembled by gorillas. He is practically breaking his hands trying to put the wheels where they're supposed to go.
NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Considering sending it back - will not pay for assembly either - you should not have to possess the strength of a bodybuilder to assemble with tools.

I purchased the WORKSHOP Wet/Dry Vacs WS1200DE Heavy Duty Wet Dry Shop Vacuum with Detachable Blower to replace a big box store shop vac. I am not disappointed with my purchase and highly recommend the unit. I can't comment on every aspect of the item just yet, as I've had it for a short period of time. But so far this is my opinion of the shop vac:

Pros:
- Very strong suction - this thing will pick up large nails without a problem
- High quality build - should last for a long time
- Decent attachments
- Nice to have the option to use it as a blower

Cons:
- Not enough storage for all the attachments
- The blower outlet exhaust is very strong, which is a good thing if that is what you're using it for. But if you have it in your shop and have sawdust on the floor it will be blown up into a hurricane from the shop vac. I had to rectify this with using the curved-end attachment on the blower end to push the air up rather than straight out.
- No attachment/storage for the powercord - at least not that I could figure out. To solve this, I used a velcro strap attached to the handle.

Generally speaking these cons are not a deal-breaker. A bit better design could have gone into this vac. Regardless, I'm really happy with the vac and highly recommend it.

How disappointing that the customer must purchase a filter made for vacuuming WATER when we thought we were getting a "WETVAC".
The tubes pull apart easily & the rubber sleeve sent for me to stretch over the joints is much too hard to use! Also, there is no expected minor air adjustment on the tube for excessive suction. The unit jams when trying to dry a wet outdoor carpet on my patio. I will be forced to drill holes in the attachment & use rubber plugs to get the needed vacuum to dry my carpets!
