Wind River is undoubtedly one of my favorite movies of all time. Typically I can find it on one of my streaming services, but this particular time it was unavailable and I had to rent it from Amazon. It stars Jeremy Renner as a federally hired game warden responsible for tracking and hunting problem animals such as mountain lions and bears that are attacking rancher's cattle and killing them. And it is his job to go out and track and kill them before they can cause more harm. On one of his hunts he comes across the body of a girl in the middle of the wilderness six miles away from the nearest building, dead and frozen solid, barefoot as if she was running from something! He is hired on by the FBI to assist in the case to find the killer or killers as no one in the area knows more about tracking or the place surrounding the mountain where her body was found. It is completely riveting from beginning to end and I have watched it so many times times I know it by heart. If you have yet to see this movie, do yourselves a favor and either rent it or buy it! You will not be sorry you did!
